You want a bio on me? Yikes.

Well... here's one. My name is Jade, first of all, and I'm an 18 year old Harry Potter addict. I work as a sales manager at a small computer store as well as attend high school (senior year... finally). I also am a staff member at danradcliffe.org. Check the site out!

One day I will be a writer. It's something I've wanted to do since a very young age. Since the purchase of my mini-laptop, I have been able to write a lot more. I love my Libretto. It's the best 200 bucks I've ever spent.

I write mostly Harry Potter fanfic, and Harry/Hermione ships at that. I know in the books it'll never happen... and she'll end up with Ron or whoever, but I still think Harry and Hermione would make the better couple. Call it my Mulder/Scully complex, but I truly believe that the best relationships are rooted in friendship.

Harry and Hermione have this great friendship. They have never really fought in the books (save for third year with Harry's Firebolt... but that wasn't really fighting) while Hermione and Ron are going at it all the time it seems. Maybe it's just my not-so-high opinion of Ron, but Harry/Hermione is, and always will be, my favorite ship.

Some other ships I do think are interesting are Oliver/Hermione (it's just so odd.. but very interesting) and some Harry/Ginny (if it's very well written). I'm also a huge fan of Lily/James fics (the story titled Crossroads is one of the best I have ever read).

I'm very picky with both what I read and what I write, especially when it comes to grammar. I love reading *good* fiction.

Reading and writing is good for the soul, it relaxes and calms you as well as entertains your mind and uplifts your soul. I encourage all to write, if not fiction then keep a journal or diary. You'll see... it's fun.
