Author has written 17 stories for Bleach. Update 8/19/2009 - After much thought and consideration, I am taking a bit of a hiatus from fanfiction. This is a matter of time constraint: school starts next semester, which means I am juggling my thesis, my Fulbright grant proposal, and grad school applications. The good news is that I will have too much time on my hands once the semester is over. However, I cannot promise that my upcoming projects will be Bleach-related because the only thing I am seriously working on right now is my Tin Man story. Honestly, I've been very disappointed in the manga chapters from the last few months. Alas, inspiration has not been easy to find. My hard drive crashed about a month and a half ago as well and I lost all of the ideas I'd written down for any of the Bleach AUs I'd been considering. Meh, who knows. Muses are tricksy little creatures, so I could be singing a different tune in a month or so. Just know that I appreciate all the wonderful reviews and messages! Love you guys! So, here is where I impart some tidbits about stories that I'm currently working on as well as some that are in development. AU seems to be my forte, so while I fully intend on writing canon universe stories, there will probably be some AUs in there as well. I love the challenge of writing them. Splinters (tentative title) - a Tin Man story: WHAT?! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is a non-Bleach story. I am just as surprised as you. But after a renewed obsession with this wonderful (if a bit plot-hole-y) Sci-Fi series, my muse went into absolute overdrive. Azkadellia has always fascinated me, especially in the aftermath of the defeat of the Witch. If there's any head case, it has to be her. So this story is about her struggles as the O.Z. is being rebuilt, along with her growing relationship with - wait for it - Jeb Cain. At least my taste for crack hasn't diminished XD This story is looking to be a multi-chapter one, which kind of scares me a bit because I don't have a good track record with lots of chapters (I'm sure you all have noticed that all of my stories are one-shots), but I'm really hopeful about this one. Every case of writer's block that I've had with this story I've been able to overcome (so far...I'm keeping my fingers crossed). This story is my baby. I'm coaxing and coddling it, though it just may be time to let it grow up...I'll probably be posting chapters soon. Upcoming Bleach AUs: Err, they're somewhere (over the rainbow). Or rather, in my old hard drive, R.I.P. The Strictly Ballroom series (COMPLETE): My beloved AU universe in which Bleach characters have been turned into ballroom dancers living in modern-day Japan. This series of one-shot stories revolves around the dancers of the 8/13 Dance Studio, run by Kyouraku Shunsui and Ukitake Jyuushiro. All stories have a theme song (the title) and dance. The stories so far are Sway (ShuNao, rumba), Quando, Quando, Quando (HitsuMatsu, tango), Come Fly With Me (UkiUno, slow foxtrot), Call Me Irresponsible (RenjiNemu, slow waltz), Moondance (ShuuIsa, paso doble), Fever (KuuKen, samba), I've Got You Under My Skin (IkkaKiyo, Viennese waltz), It Had Better Be Tonight (UraYoru, mambo), The More I See You (IchiRuki, jive), Everything (IshiHime, bolero), The Lady Is a Tramp (GrimmFong, salsa), At Long Last Love (YumiSun, West Coast swing), Night and Day (UlquiNel, quickstep), Witchcraft (YachiruWonderwice, cha-cha), and Save the Last Dance for Me (Hitsugaya Aki and Kyouraku Halu, Argentine tango).
