Chapter Five of Musing is completed and posted. I look below at the previous update information and snicker sadly to myself. Difficult, indeed. I feel I must apologize to everyone for what occurred. I hesitate to put something so very personal on such a public forum, but I owe it to my readers. There are many reasons that I took so long, but the two major ones are these: I suffer from mental and emotional health issues, complicated by the illness of depression that runs in my family; and the fact that I gained a boyfriend only to have the aforementioned problems cause me to leave him, along with an extremely stressful confrontation with someone else a few days before that break-up. I had an emotional and near mental breakdown. I was having difficulty finishing writing beforehand, and after all that... crap, I couldn't bear to look at any of my writings. I could not afford to invest myself emotionally in anything other than strictly myself. Occasionally, as a way to stay in touch in some manner, I created a new account ( Transformer Author Spotlights) and posted old Transformers stories. (See more information on that on the user profile page for TAS.)

Then just a few days ago, I was on the laptop and thought, Why not? I opened the file and... just started typing. It didn't, well, hurt is the closest approximation I am able to arrive at. The chapter quality is not entirely to my standard, but I attribute that to being rusty. I can only go forward and do my best to do better.

So there it is. I wish I could make up for the promise to have a chapter every two weeks, but I am unable to. What I can promise you is at least one more chapter (it will deal with the concept of the power of names) that will be finished--I do not know when, though. I ask for your forgiveness and your patience. I will do better.
