Author has written 21 stories for Secret Garden, Goose Girl, Beauty and the Beast, Phantom of the Opera, Vocaloid, Fairy Tales, Avatar: Last Airbender, Inuyasha, Princess Tutu, Harry Potter, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, Petite Cossette, and Matched. Wow, this blank profile space is so... intimidating. Well, here goes! About me: I am a teenage girl. I love writing (obviously), reading, singing, dancing, drawing, baking, and foreign languages. Sarcasm is my natural state, although you may not see it unless you get to know me fairly well. I have very long hair and fashion sense that could probably be best described as "eclectic." You can call me Doushenka, if you like. About my writing: I've been writing fanfiction in my head pretty much since I learned how to read. I also write original fiction, but finishing projects and I... don't get along very well. Most of my fiction here will be character-driven romance, although some (i.e. A Duck on Swan Lake) may have a more original plot. There may also be some OC projects in the future, but that won't be for a while. Mechanically, I write very well, and I've been told I'm also good at keeping the canon cast "in character." And I love reviews, both good and bad--tell me what I'm doing right, but don't be afraid to tell me what I'm doing wrong! I may never be a professional writer, but I'm always trying to improve. About my ongoing stories: A Duck on Swan Lake--is my first priority right now. BUT. I recently got a beta, who has been going over the chapters I've already posted. I'm waiting to write more until she and I have finished talking, and then I'll probably rewrite what I've posted up to now. I'll put a notice here when I start rewriting, if you want to read the improved chapters while you're waiting. Edit: She's reviewed all of my current chapters now, so rewriting has officially begun! But now that I've started, you may not be able to read until they're all done after all... I am really excited about this story, and I'll try to finish it as quickly as I can! A Long Expected Party--To those of you who are waiting for this, I am so, so sorry. By all rights I should be working on this one, but I won't get back to it until I finish A Duck on Swan Lake. It will have lots of shipping and fun shenanigans, but unfortunately you'll have to wait for a while. Will You?--I know this one isn't as popular, but I thought I'd say it anway: this one will probably not be updated for a long time. Maybe one more chapter, but most of the rest of my proposals involve minor characters, who I honestly don't remember as well. Since I try very hard to stay "in character," I won't post those chapters until I've reread at least large parts of FMA.
