I'd offer cookies, but they'd just slow down your computer! \dies from bad jokes/ Anyways, I'm a Canadian, I've only ever posted one story before my current one so I'm still relitively new (The hundreds of unfinished stories not withstanding) I have many 'Fandoms' in which I write about but most stories never get very far due to a low attention span on my part. So when I get a story that I have a clear plot planned out, a forseeable end and an interesting believable story line, then I try my hardest to actually stick to it.
