Author has written 23 stories for Gilmore Girls, Labyrinth, Harry Potter, Secret Circle series, Vampire Diaries, Are You Afraid of the Dark, and Forbidden Game series. 1/20/09 Got my first review from Midnight Whisperers: "i hate it cant you write a nice story" Reeeeally? That's the review? Because Are You Afraid of the Dark was hardly known for its super-duper happy endings. And that's me disregarding the lack of capitals or punctuation and focusing on what this reviewer's gripe is. I suppose the real question is what they qualify as "nice." If nice is happy butterflies and rainbows, then hell, no! I doubt I'll ever write a "nice" story in my life! If the reviewer is implying that they are unsatisfied with an ending that hardly qualifies as "and then they lived happy ever after," well, dear reader, you'll just have to deal with it. Or go read fanfic from My Little Pony or something. I don't need everyone to like what I write. But please, if you're going to leave a review to tell me what you don't like, things like punctuation and clarity go a looong ways. 'Cause otherwise it's really hard for me to take you seriously. 12/17/08 Tale of the Midnight Whisperers is listed as an Are You Afraid of the Dark fic, because the only reason I felt compelled to write at all was because of my delight in finding a category for the show that used to have me jumping at shadows when I was a kid. The problem is that I started writing in a couple Labyrinth and Forbidden Games references and ended up with... Well, a melding of the genres, if you will. :) Pretty much the only thing that stays true to Are You Afraid of the Dark is the opening and everything else can be directly and distinctly traced back to Laby and FG. Sort of an oopsie on my part, but hey! It's um... something, right? 6/10/07 Updated "Cradle" last night. YES, I am aware that the new chapter appears spastic. But it has its purpose. In any case, the new idea is keeping me more interested in the story than I've been in fanfic for quite a while. I've been working on stuff. We'll see if I do anything with it. ;) 5/21/07 Updated another chapter of "Cradle" because a nice reviewer named Aimee, well, reviewed (out of the clear blue!) and I remembered that I had a couple pages worth of chapter sitting on my computer. So voila:) It's also reeeeeeeally early and I'm exhausted so yeah. If anyone's around? Enjoy! (Er, I hope! lol) 12/23/06 Shockingly enough, I have found myself inspired to work on a fanfic. I have begun the process, but will not post anything until said story is either complete or the strange inclination has passed. ;) (For those of you that are wondering, it's a Laby fic.) 7/20/06 Uploaded an older Laby fic that I never bothered posting on Ff.net. It's edited to keep within the ratings guidelines, but the meat of it is unchanged. I'm fortunate enough to be a featured author at Digital-quill.org, along with some truly amazing fanfic writers. "Silent Longings," in it's entirety, can be found there under "Ellie101" Digital Quill 7/16/06 You may have noticed that "Fate" has been deleted. I have done so because the chapters were hopelessly scrambled while I was trying to figure something out and somehow I managed to completely lose "Part 3" so I just deleted the entire story, with only a tiny bit of regret, since it WAS my first fanfic ever. If anyone has "Part 3" laying around then PLEASE zip it over to me. I'd like to hang onto it- if only for posterity's sake. Oy. Fanfic.net gives me such a freaking headache. 7/14/06 The unthinkable has occurred. I recieved an email last night from "fireflyjunction" about my fanfics. To make a long story short, it inspired me to wrap up the chapter of "Cradle" that I've had gathering dust on my comp since last year and... Dun, dun, DUN! UPDATE. So there it is. I have updated a fanfic. Amazing, I know. Please keep in mind that this really doesn't change much- I don't forsee any sudden dives back into fanfic, but maybe (MAYBE mind you!) I'll dip my toes in, once in a blue moon. Everyone owes Firefly a biiiiiig thank you, if you've been wanting an update on "Cradle" for the last several months. 'Cause I'm just a persnicky semi-retired-fanfic writer, and I would've been absolutely fine with leaving the latest chapter unfinished and taking up harddrive space. Later! 2/21/06 So I'm sure that you've noticed I'm not really writing fanfic lately. There is a reason for that... It's mainly because I have lost all interest.
