Greetings, everyone. I'm basically new to this site (I've posted two stories in the past on another account - one of which I deleted, and neither of which are worth mentioning, on the basis that I can't seem to read anything I've written that is older than June of 2007 without cringing). I've been in the fanfiction business a long time, starting at the age of seven with a story I wrote for Peter Pan: the Musical. I brought it to school, only to be discovered with it by my teacher during reading period. Needless to say, she forced me to stand at the head of the room and read it to the class. It's no wonder why I never became a public speaker.

These days, I focus mainly on Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and V.C. Andrews' The Dollanganger Saga. I'm very particular about what fandoms I write for, so unless something comes along to really pique my interest, these are the two I'll mainly be sticking with.

Like many authors, I write solely for the purpose of enjoyment, as well as to help boost my confidence. I also have my preferred forte, which includes four genres: Romance, drama, angst, and the occasional sprint of action/adventure. So you can expect to be seeing much of that from me.

My two favorite pairings of all time are Jerome and Esmé Squalor (A Series of Unfortunate Events) and Garland and Alicia Foxworth (Garden of Shadows, a kind of spin-off as well as the final installment of The Dollanganger Saga). As a result, all of my fics either focus on or have something to do with these two pairings. I shall warn you, though, that I tend to write Esmé Squalor very differently from Daniel Handler's original version. Therefore, if you don't typically enjoy fics involving out-of-character visualizations, then you'll probably want to avoid mine. However, I do my best to follow V.C. Andrews' interpretations of Garland and Alicia.

My pen-name derives from a scene in Garden of Shadows, where Alicia is describing how her earliest conversations with Garland are reminiscent of 'one long melody'.

I am moderator of the fanfiction section over at 667 Dark Avenue, one of the web's most notable Lemony Snicket message boards (for those of you who are interested in the site, click the 'homepage' link).

Well, that's about all I have to say for now. I hope you enjoy reading my fanfictions, and please don't hesitate to leave reviews. It's important for me to know how I'm doing and/or if there's anything I need to work on. Physical description is probably my biggest struggle, so if anyone can offer me advice on how to improve on that, then I'd really appreciate it.
