Sigh. One should always Google (Or Bing ... sorry MS friends) a potential login before signing up with that login ... and then posting two stories with lots of reviews on said login. Ugh!! Such is life. For those of you that are aware of the definition of "nervert" it does not apply in this instance. I may be a nerd but I'm not trying to make myself out to be a creepy basement dweller.

Anyway, hi, I'm Nervert (grrrr!) a thirty something molecular biologist and a huge Chuck fan. Grant writing is not fun so here I am writing Chuck fan fics instead of doing that. I really have to give credit to all you Chuck fic writers as it wasn't until I came here and started reading that I had the notion to write something of my own. Before that I hadn't written anything since high school. Thanks for bringing me out of my dormancy and causing me to abandon my responsibilities (okay that last part might be my fault). Also, a big thank you for all the feedback from you loyal readers. Really big thanks to KateMcK for all the help on "Revenge" and for just being awesome. And a REALLY HUGE thank you to my wife, just in general for everything, and for letting me pester her with story ideas and giving me the time to write.

Update 5/14/12: Chapter 20 is at 12,000 words. Still going.

Update 6/4/12: Chapter 20 at 14,800 words. Getting closer.

Update 6/8/12: Chapter 20 is in beta (over 16,000 words; probably gonna become two chapters)

Update 9/21/12: To the two of you still waiting for it, chapter 21 finally being written. It's been a tough few months. Don't worry, I have a very definite ending for this story so there's no way I'm leaving it till it's finished.

Update 11/9/12: Well, I'm at over 8000 words and still going. This one might turn into two chapters as well. I think I would be an editor's nightmare.

Update 11/30/12: Damn. Almost 6 months. Last time I posted a chapter I was in Hawaii. Sigh. Anyway, still working on it. Over 10,000 words now and plenty more to come. Definitely two chapters worth.

Update 12/14/12: Alright, chapter 24 is with Kate. Now I just have to finish chapter 23.

Update 3/20/13: To those that still care, I still haven't abandoned this. The only thing slowing me down is a lot of work and personal stress. Once I get something substantial down for chapter 23 then the rest will come very quickly.

Update 5/17/13: Okay, chapter 23 is in beta (more like the first half is in beta since I'm splitting the chapter ... as I always seem to do).
