I am currently in the midst of planning a great number of stories, mostly Naruto fics or Hetalia oneshots, a few crossovers of Naruto and other series, etc. These will be written and uploaded eventually, but it's taking a lot to keep the ones I have going on track and updated, so when they will be finally begun remains to be seen. But when they are posted, they will be totally epic... so just hang in there... I won't abandon anything, I promise!

Bluh bluh, unfortunately, I'm am temporarily suspending A Little Insanity. It was my first story and I still know pretty much where I plan to go with it, but it's not one of the ones that I'm most keen to write at the moment. I'm not abandoning it, and I will most likely get back to it eventually, but this is the official heads-up. I will still be updating Perfection, though.

OC CHARACTER BIOS

Oscar Junomaru-

(Pre-Time-skip)

Age: 12 (at least at the beginning)

Rank: Genin (at least in the beginning)

Appearence: Shortish in height with spikyish, lightish brown hair, brown skin, and brown eyes (in my mind's eye, it looks less monotone than it sounds.)

Personality: Usually childish and annoying (not to mention insane) but can by surprisingly calm and logical when he makes the effort.

Background: Comes from Kumo and was sent to Konoha by his parents via returning cart (it took a while to get back/there.) The people in Kumo did not treat him altogether kindly due to his unsettling habits and behavior. His parents were medic-nin who hardly paid attention to him as a person and didn't get to know him. They wanted him to become a medic, even though he hates hospitals, so they had him study medicine and psychology and assist in the hospital where they worked. This is where Oscar gets his medical knowledge. His insane personality developed as a defense mechanism against his loneliness and as a method of gaining his parents' attention, though, since they were never around, they didn't realize that he behaved that way normally.

Additional: Oscar's ambition is to someday work in the Torture Interrogation department, but for now, he chooses to be the self-proclaimed medic of his team whenever they need one.

Strengths/ Limitations in combat: Oscar knows perfectly well his own strengths and shortcomings on the field and takes advantage of every chance to improve his skills. He has chakra control that is only second to Sakura's, but his reserves are not the size he would want them to be. (think quite a bit bigger than Sakura's but still nothing to, say, Shikamaru's.) He prefers short-to-mid range combat but is still fine-tuning both his long- and mid-range combat abilities. He real strengths lie in chakra-fueled attacks, due to his impressive control, elemental attacks (lightning-once he begins to learn them) and delights in occasionally using his pure randomness to take people by surprise. His real strength only emerges when he is emotionally unsettled (passionate, angry, wanting to protect someone, etc.) His fighting style, particularly in close quarters combat, seems to entail nontraditional stances and techniques for a shinobi, as though he learned fighting on the streets more than he did in an academy.

(Note: read this bio at your own risk. You will be confused. Also, beware the spoilers. Spoilerrssssssssssssss! Hahahahahaha!!!!!)

Appearance: His two bodies (see background) are exactly the same (so please be good enough to just apply every singular to both bodies. It makes writing this so much easier.) He has black hair that is mostly gathered under a black bandanna with a hitai-ate in the front (except for his spikyish bangs which hang down and he doesn't bother to tie up.) He is slightly taller than average and has the usual (for Konoha) pale-ish skin. His eyes are gray and he wears a deep grayish-green turtleneck shirt and dark gray cargo pants.

Personality: Rather annoying about his "condition", as talking about it makes him impatient and being forced to think about his two bodies makes him irritable, confused and distressed. He prefers to avoid the topic (if possible) or else let others do the explaining. When he is focusing on other matters, however, he is serious, has a good sense of humor, hardly any tact and mostly keeps to himself unless he needs something or someone else begins the conversation or seeks him out.

Background: (Skip to line 16 if you want the quick version but don't complain if you're lost then.) As was widely know after his lab was discovered, Orochimaru was practicing human experimentation in many areas before he left Konoha. Among those experiments was a little bit on human flesh cloning. Instead constructing a perfect copy of someone using chakra, Orochimaru chose the method of trying to duplicate a days-old embryo using science . He "procured" two pregnant mothers after years of idle thoughts on the subject and much active planning. He then proceeded to tinker with the DNA of the two embryos, swapping the DNA of one out for the DNA of the other (This is based on my own rather limited knowledge of how genetic diseases are eased and cured so I know there will be inaccuracies. Just bear with me.) so that, over the first crucial weeks of development, it became apparent that the second baby was an exact genetic duplicate of the first. However, Orochimaru decided, after the deed was done, that human genetic cloning would not be worth pursuing. To his mind, it was expensive, time-consuming, and required so much more research than he had already done that the lazy bastard decided to give it up, much to the panic of the two mothers, now bearing identical twins. They were both almost due to give birth when the lab was discovered and shut down. Tsunade arrived in Konoha to seek truth behind the rumors of her old teammate's lab. She came upon the two mothers who were panicking slightly, not sure what to expect when their children arrived. Tsunade did not arrive early enough to examine the women or come to any conclusions about the nature of the experiment when the two women died giving birth. On the same day. Since Tsunade (legendary medic, yadda yadda etc.) had been unable to save the two women's lives, she took it upon herself to raise and care for the two children. It soon became apparent that these two children were linked in some way. Whenever one was taken out of the line of sight of the other, both would start to cry. Once the two had grown old enough to walk and talk, the two wandered around together; helping each other but hardly ever speaking to one another. Whenever someone wanted to talk to one of the pair, they would have to talk to both boys because they refused to split up. Tsunade became slightly alarmed when she realized that both boys had taken the same name (Jaitan.) After questioning both boys (together) she discovered the "problem." It seems that when Orochimaru took DNA from the first embryo, he left the two spiritually linked. Therefore, while they are actually two separate, if identical, people (bodies,) their minds and spiritual energies are linked. The short version (and yes i could have told you this 15 lines ago, but i wanted to explain) is that Jaitan has two separate bodies (is two separate people) that are exactly the same but they think they are one person with two bodies and one mind to control them both. They get away with this thinking because both people have exactly the same likes, dislikes, thoughts, and opinions, having been exposed to exactly the same experiences and stimuli throughout their lives. So everyone calls him (both of them) Jaitan. Because of the spiritual link, The bodies share spiritual energy. Therefore, if one body trains in chakra control, both benefit. In addition, if one body completely uses up it's chakra, then he has actually used up all of the chakra for both bodies. Think of it as both "Jaitans" having a common reservoir large enough for two people. Recap: Two separate individuals who both think that they are extensions of one guy. When Jaitan is left to explain on his own, he doesn't say that he is two separate people because he doesn't think he is.

Additional: (As though you need to sit through more of this) Jaitan is an adaptable sensei and likes to have all bases covered, at least partially, skill-wise. It helps his feeling of normalcy and security and Log knows how much he needs those things in his life.

One last thing: (SPOILER!) Tsunade did not abandon Jaintan after she discovered that he (they) had a mental abnormality/spiritual link. Jaitan travels along with Shizune and Tsunade.

I love reviewing other people's stories. I don't care how old a story is or what chapter I'm on, I like telling the author what they've done right.
