Author has written 7 stories for Sailor Moon, and Sailor Moon X-overs. Dated 25 May 2008... Konnichiwa!... Wow it has been nearly two and a half years since I last went to fanfiction.net, you know the old story, "man plans, God laughs" well it seems that the best laid plans are often the ones that get thrown down the gutter first. Ah well. After a long hiatus from writing fanfiction I have finally found my muse again. Now I'm ready to come back and continued where I left off to finish what I have started. The chapters that were left behind are now ready to come out and be told (though hopefully told with a better voice)! Though it has been a while since I actually posted anything, I haven't left writing altogether these past few years. Again there is the online web drama Currents (look for Marianya). I have also ventured into scriptwriting and currently have an up and coming director wanting to play around with a few scripts that I have set aside, so I'm excited for that. But I never forget my roots. =) Unfortunately since I don't forget my roots... I tend to reread what is already done and realize that there are things here and there that I could have done better (after all you are your own worse critic). So in rereading some of the material I had originally completed, I am finding myself itching to rewrite some of the material. Whether this would happen or not is a totally different ballgame but we'll see what happens. The Inspiration... I fancy myself to write character driven stories with a dash of fantasy thrown in there. Obviously if Elements of Song was any consideration you'll see where the realism and the fantasy collide. I started out writing poetry in the late nineties and wrote my first fanfiction at the close of the millennium. This story is called: Forbidden Fruit a royalty driven story with a touch of Cinderella thrown in there. Eventually I found my way over the mighty pond of the Pacific and started reading some manga. However, since the manga/comic book phase has started to wear out for me I find myself roaming back to the classics of Jane Austen and JRR Tolkien... Interesting variety, ne? Anyway here is what you could look forward to in 2008/9... Elements of Song: Sailor Moon/boy bands crossover Keep a look out for upcoming chapters! Hope to see you soon! | |||||||||||
