Greetings, all. I got bored with my old profile, so I'm making a new one. It'll be up... eventually. In the meantime, enjoy some quotes.

“Let no one think of me that I am humble or weak or passive; let them understand I am of a different kind: dangerous to my enemies, loyal to my friends. To such a life glory belongs.” ~~Euripedes, Medea

“I have never been able to find out precisely what feminism is: I only know that people call me a feminist whenever I express sentiments that differentiate me from a doormat.” ~~Rebecca West

“The green eyes in the carefully sweet face were turbulent, willful, lusty with life, distinctly at variance with her decorous demeanor.” ~~Margaret Mitchell, Gone With the Wind

“I suppose I am a born novelist, for the things I imagine are more vital and vivid to me than the things I remember.” ~~Ellen Glasgow

“She’s a born lady, and there aren’t many of those left anymore. A Leo female can roll in the grass, climb a tree, change a tire, or any number of traditionally unladylike things, but her general demeanor will remain as casually gracious and poised as if she were walking down a red-carpeted aisle to be coronated.” ~~Linda Goodman

“Igraine sat bolt upright; despite her sick swollen face, her blue lips, she looked on the younger woman in such a way that Gwenhwyfar suddenly remembered, She too is High Queen of this land. ‘You know not what you speak,’ Igraine said, with pride and pity and contempt. ‘The Goddess is beyond all your other Gods. Religions may come and go, as the Romans found and no doubt the Christians will find after them, but she is beyond them all.’” ~~Marion Zimmer Bradley, Mists of Avalon

“The men in the room suddenly realized that they didn’t want to know her better. She was beautiful, but she was beautiful in the way a forest fire was beautiful: something to be admired from a distance, not up close.” ~~Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, Good Omens

“You think your hate has finally won— Do you not see? It has only allowed Love to win again, to become Stronger than before.” ~~Jeanne Kalogridis, The Burning Times

“Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary.” ~~Dead Poets’ Society, Mr. Keating

~~~General Notes~~~
~Anyone particularly interested in my rather uneventful life can read my online journal here.
~I love reviews. Please review my stuff. Messages from the bot just make my day. Just know that any and all flames will be summarily ignored and dismissed. The same goes for all critiques made of my person and not of my writing.
~~~Status of the Stories~~~

Eyes of Gold: is undergoing massive revision, because it's just bad, really. Most of it was written between three and five years ago, and I cringe when reading parts of it. So it's being fixed, and will be taken down and reposted... eventually. Never let it be said that I hold others to higher standards than I hold myself. I'm tougher on myself, to be honest, because I consider myself superior and am disappointed in myself when that doesn't show. ;)
