Author has written 20 stories for Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy VII, Yu Yu Hakusho, D.Gray-Man, Homestuck, and Bleach. Hey, all! I'm Princess of Radiance, but you can call me Princess. I'm just your average attempting-to-be-sane Kingdom Hearts fan. (hard thing to do, with this fandom...) I also write for Final Fantasy VII, and I have a Naruto one-shot that will never see the light of day here unless i'm heavily persuaded. update: Hey, i'm sorry I vanished. School and personal issues and a USB crash. I'm still working on the Third Cycle, promise! update 2: Okay, actually writing now! Expect more of CWW and RH after Spring Break (which is next week) When i'm not writing one-shots, I'm working on my massive fanfic project, The Third Cycle. I'll keep track of it here: A Second Twilight: prologue and set-up for the Plot. Complete! Reclaiming Hearts: Demyx and Luxord's branch-off story. Contains one (1) Nobody OC, Orin. In-Progress. Chasing the Wind and Waves: The Original Six's branch-off story. Contains one (maybe two if I take pity on Xigbar) OCs. One of them (the maybe one) is a Keybearer. In-Progress. update: Okay, voting is CLOSED. Jas is coming back :) Intertwined: Axel, Saïx, and the Destiny Trio's branch-off story. Possible OC (likely not, though), plentiful FF cameos. In-Progress. The as-of-yet unnamed final story: heck, this is just a placeholder. This'll be the grand finale, when all three stories come together. Hey, all. I’m suffering a massive writer’s block for the KH fics, so…that’s probably going on a hiatus. I’ll be trying to get the Crisis Core fic typed up and posted, so bear with me on that. In the meantime, I’m going to be working on a project I’ve been rewriting, revising, and generally fussing over for five years- my Yu Yu Hakusho fanfic. Oh, boy, what I can say about YYH. I’ve been a fan of this show for seven years now (OH GOD THAT MAKES ME FEEL SO OLD). The first year I was really into this show was back when it was on Cartoon Network on the weekdays when Toonami had that and G Gundam (the one with Domon and the sexy US cowboy guy) and DBZ. That also happened to be the worst school year of my life, and I do not exaggerate. I can honestly say YYH helped me through that, and I’ve been extremely attached to the show since. That whole time, I wrote a bunch of crappy pseudofics with characters who were based on the boys. And one actual fic, based off the movie- the one with Kuronue (the one I’ve watched a good 30 times minimum). In the years since, I’ve gotten much better at writing, developed my Kuronue’s personality some (with copious amounts of being boggled at the fact every single fic writer somehow writes him the same way), added some new characters to the mix (like Azami formerly named Chisao, my Spirit Detective), developed them, created and developed some passable villains, received a gift of my friend’s OC, and solidified a vague idea into a very cool character named Ryuen. And now…I am actually WRITING the damn thing. I don’t want to put this in the author’s notes, so here is a quick rundown of the ‘verse my fic (possibly fics) take place in. It’s sort of a mix of the manga and anime endings, with a bit of my own. It takes place in 2007, eleven years after the last episode. Yusuke is still running that ramen stand, operating a bit of a P.I. thing going. Kuwabara is a science teacher at Sarayashiki. Kurama is pretty much Shuichi full-time and works for his stepdad, having taken a step back from his life as Kurama- he doesn’t contact the others as much anymore. Keiko is a kindergarten teacher. Genkai is not dead. Shizuru owns a hair salon, Hiei works with Mukuro as her personal aide (and possibly something more, though they’ll both stab you if you insinuate it, unless your name is Kurama). Yomi still intensely dislikes Kurama, due to a massive argument between the two when Kurama tried to explain the Incident (to be covered in more detail). Shura sneaks out a lot to go to Genkai’s compound and spar with Yusuke- this does not help. The Kurama Team (Jin, etc.) alternates between the worlds, helping Genkai out or working with the DHFA (Demon Human Fighting Association, founded by Koto and the boys and is exactly what it sounds like- a much smaller, much more accessible and less bloodthirsty cross-world MMA tourney association). There still hasn’t been a replacement Spirit Detective- Kuroko forbid Koenma to ask her kids. In the meantime, Yusuke’s been filling in as a temp, alongside the Mushiyori boys. As of about a month before the story takes place, the most recent Demon World Ruler Tourney was held, and the winner was Koko, so she and Enki are ruling jointly. I hope you enjoy it!
