Author has written 7 stories for Emergency. I grew up just about next door to a fire house. The firefighters were always glad to have us come and visit them. Many of them became family friends. My brother and sister and I would save our pennies and nickles to be able to stop by the station and get a 6-cent bottle of Coke from their machine. (Now that really dates me!) My husband was a volunteer firefighter for several years and now my granddaughter is a volunteer firefighter. I remember watching the original Emergency! shows and was very disappointed when it was cancelled. I discovered Emergency! fanfiction about the same time as the first dvd's were released. After reading so many wonderful stories I thought I'd try some of my own. After spending three years teaching in Japan my husband and I returned to the States in June 2011. I'm now teaching middle school students in a small Christian school and loving every minute of it. Story writing will be slow - classroom responsibilities, a class I'm taking and life in general. | |||||||
