Recently, I received a rather lengthy review on my story No Life Queen. First, I would like to thank Har for taking the time to speak his mind, even though he didn't like it at. Doing so can help a writer just as much as a good review, maybe more as it can point out places where changes can be made. That being said, there are some things there I think need to be clarified for both him and my other readers.

First things first. My view on the fanfiction I write is that I am trying to do something different than the original authors intended. I mean the universes I draw from are rather shallow so there is plenty of fodder for change. And since I write from a Western standpoint there will be less lining up with cannon. For the most part, I don't think I would ever do a cannon fic, there are just too many places where on little flub can call down every person with an angry shout that its not absolutely perfect.

My knowledge of Sailor Moon comes from three sources: the show on Cartoon Network, internet research, and fanfiction. Of the fanfics, I am most certainly a Ranma ½ guy, so there are a whole bunch of Sailor Moon crossovers that I pull from. I have taken these sources and compiled my own idea of the SM universe. One of the things I thought early on while watching the show was that it sucked that there was no male Senshi. Minus the fukus of course. I always imagined a wicked cool set of armor or something like that for them. Now, I know that Mamoru is technically the Senshi of Earth, but I am a guy who can't get behind that in the least. I mean what sort of hero lurks on buildings and throws roses? I know its supposed to be a girl's show, but throw the guys a bone; other than the short skirts. So in my fanfics you will find male Senshi, you don't have to like it but that is what I am going to write.

Another thing you will find in my SM stories is new Senshi, be they male or female. Now, there is an issue that Naru and Umino are both new and powerful. Well I'd already addressed their efficiency in the chapter that I am writing, so you will learn about that soon enough. But there was mention that, since they were new people, they should be less powerful than the rest of the Senshi. I can justify their power level via the Outer Senshi. When they show up for the first time they are just as powerful, if not a tad more so, than the Inners. Of course the Inners close the gap, but there is a precedent. As to who would win in a fight, I will say right now that there are members of the Sailor Senshi who could totally destroy Umino and Naru if it came to a straight up power vs power thing. In fact, if a regular Youma attacked Japan, the Senshi would be just as effective as ever. Its just these new ones that are an issue, and not for long.

So, I hope this little bit has given you all a clearer picture as to why I do certain things in my writing. Thanks to everyone who has sent in reviews on my stories, I can't tell you when new chapters will hit the tubes, but they are in progress so keep an eye out.

Of Furos and Memories – Complete though I will explain in full in the prologue for a new story, the primary story that was going to come off this has been shelved. Some elements of this will be maintained, but others are not. Believe me when I say that its all spelled out in the notes
