Author has written 21 stories for Doctor Who. Well, what does one write here? I seem to be a bit of a late bloomer, arriving late to the party for The Doctor and this fan fiction thing. I had heard about “Doctor Who” most of my life but, being a Yank and not having the advantage of the BBC, hadn’t really experienced him firsthand. Last Christmas (2010), I saw an ad on BBC America for The Doctor Who Christmas Special “A Christmas Carol”. That story is a particular favorite of mine (being a Christmas baby myself) and I read it every year. I thought this might be fun and it had the added bonus of having Michael Gambon in it, so I set my DVR. And a love affair began. The writing came out of nowhere. I’ve always been clever with words but never thought about writing any kind of fiction, let alone about a TV show. And I certainly never imagined posting anything in a public place! But my little pieces have had a few kind reviews, so I suppose I’ll continue, at least until the Muse deserts me. | |||||||
