Author has written 21 stories for Dragon Ball Z, Secret Circle series, Trigun, Batman Beyond, Inuyasha, Jak and Daxter, Shrek, Gargoyles, and Angel Densetsu.

Recently it is deviantART which has been taking up the majority of my time. I've been drawing and drawing, with writing coming secondary. Also, my interests tend to change often and erratically, making it difficult to keep a bio such as this up-to-date. Here I will add some facts which I imagine most people on this site don't know, and if you do, don't flame me for saying it anyway.

Anime has become more popular than western animation, but there are rules to follow. I originally thought there were many rules, such as men never having pink hair or a shoujo anime that doesn't involve women twirling around in the nude, but I am clearly wrong. The only "rule" is that anime is Japanese. That means, regardless of what you think, the artist/writer that started the anime made it with Japanese names. Sometimes they don't do this, and on purpose, but even so, they wouldn't have written the characters' names in English; they would use Japanese writing.

Basic Japanese structure is this: other than the vowels, the only letter to ever appear and be written by itself is "n." That means a name like Danielle wouldn't appear in Japanese. My name might, but it wouldn't be pronounced the same -- "Pamela" would become "Pah-mei-ra." Or something very similar. Certain letters from the English alphabet also never occur in the Japanese one. From what I've seen, they don't have l, q, x, or v. Those who argue with me will be shot; do some research, chilluns. For instance, "Vegeta," though common in English, is actually "Bejita" in Japanese. B=V, and L=R in Japanese pronunciation.

I will only listen to corrections which come straight from Japanese people, or those who have learned Japanese. I won't accept "neko kawaii sugoi sugoi" as actually knowing Japanese.

Some other basic rules include respect and how one adresses others. How English people use Mr, Ms and Mrs is equivalent to how Japanese people use -san, -kun, -chan and a few others. Given what I've learned so far, when introducing yourself, you say your name first, then wait for the other person to do the same. You would give your last name followed by your first, and you would then be referred to by your last name + -san. If your name is Caroline Forbes, you would say, "Forbes Caroline," and then you would be called Forbes-san.

Each suffix grants its own meaning and level of respect. You can read up on this elsewhere, perhaps at wikipedia, but I'll give a small example here.

-chan -- a cute suffix, between close (girl) friends, towards someone younger than you, between lovers, and sometimes used as an insult to someone who would be offended by your using it. "Cheer up, loser-chan!" "Why you!!"

-san -- equivalent of Mr and Ms. The most commonly used suffix, between recent aquantences, people at work, and fellow students in school. Teachers usually use this suffix for their students as well. "Good morning, Uzumaki-san."

-kun -- used towards boys, mainly. A girl who is close but not dating a boy would use it, or male friends towards each other. Girls can use this suffix between each other as well, but it's not as common for girls to use it. "I was out with Zack-kun and the guys."

-dono -- not used very often anymore, but it was mainly given to samurai and the like. Warriors, for instance. "Sarutobi-dono, there is trouble at the river!" "I'm on my way!"

-sensei -- referring to a teacher of some kind. They can teach anything, and could even be a tutor from your own class. "Jill-sensei, I don't understand this. . ."

-sama -- extremely honorific. You use this when referring to someone much higher up than you, such as a lord, king or god (or female counterpart.) You could also use it for someone you simply feel is higher than you, like someone you idolize very much. "Ozborne-sama, would you sign my poster?"

There are a few more, but this is a starter thing anyway. Only people who are very close to one another -- friends, lovers, married couples -- will call each other by their first names. It shows a great deal of trust and closeness to each other. Inuyasha and Kagome are just this way, whereas Miroku calls Kagome "Kagome-sama," and Sango calls Miroku "Houshi-sama." It can get much more complicated and harder to understand as you delve deeper into how Japanese "everything" works, but it's also fun to flaunt to English-speakers how you get it and they don't. :P

I don't use ff.net as much as I used to. These days I'm mostly on mediaminer.org (below), though I try to keep things going here as best I can. Sometimes I forget to update here, after updating there. Still, I'm trying, and if you want to keep up with me a bit better, visit deviantART -- I have a journal there I sometimes update. "Sometimes" being "much more often than writing new chapters." XD

-- ~~~~ UPDATE ~~~~ --

Recently my computer was wiped, setting back all my written and illustrated works over a month. I had more than a few chapters finished, plus many halfway done, before the wipe -- which I now have to rewrite. It's unfortunate, but please be patient while I try to rewrite them.
