Hi!

Here's a bit about me, if you'd like to know. I love Harry Potter fanfiction. There are great stories out there that do the characters justice and make the mysterious personalities of J.K.Rowling's world really come to life. My favourite character is Harry. My other favourites are Snape and Voldemort. Canon-like and in character is how I like them best.

Reading fics and books (mostly fantasy and poetry), listening to and making music are other hobbies of mine. I love both classical and modern music and listen to them about equal amounts of time, although in my humble opinion they do not compare: classical music is the foundation of all music. It is the ultimate experience, because it manages to stir emotions that do not have names, that you do not understand yourself. It also manages to be a completely different experience when you listen to it a second or third, fourth time. It is worth exploring. I've never known a truer saying than Tchaikovsky's perception of music:

"It alone clarifies, reconciles, and consoles. But it is not a straw just barely clutched at. It is a faithful friend, protector, and comforter, and for its sake alone, life in this world is worth living."

Keep Your Enemies Closer used to be called Beckoning Darkness. That title didn't suit so I changed it. This fic is about the NON-SLASH relationship between Harry and Voldemort, as well as Snape, Harry's strict mentor(ish figure, he wouldn't want to be called that!). Aside from the main characters, I also want to give screen time to a lot of side characters (and side plot points) to make things spicy.
