Dear Readers and Etc, Those of you who read All The Stars may have read the note I posted a while back mentioning the death of my grandfather on May 20th. On June 18th, I also lost a man who was very close to my heart, who has been like a father to me for the past four years. Both of these losses have hit me hard and for this reason all my work is on a temporary hiatus while I mourn and put myself back together. I will not be updating, nor will I be accepting any beta requests during this time. I will however, work on my stories when I find the time and inspiration. I am not abandoning my works! For those of you who have already responded, that you very much for all your kinds words. They are very much appreciated, and thank you so much for being so patient with me. All My Love, Update: September 11, 2009 Hello, it's me again. I just thought I'd give everyone a heads up, if anyone ever comes to read this anyway. I wanted to thank everyone who sent their regards and warm wishes. They truly meant a lot to me. I don't know when I'll continue writing again, but at the moment it seems as though all my inspiration has dissipated into thin air. I try to sit and write, but I end up just staring at open documents for hours on end. Of course, I knew this day would come, but I just wish it hadn't come so soon. I truly do wish to write again. I love doing so; it's truly cathartic. I just don't know when I'll be able to again. I do know that at the very least I want to finish the few stories that are so near completion, it would feel like such a tragedy to leave them undone. As for the rest... Well, we'll see. Even if I stop writing completely, I won't be taking anything down, I do promise that much. I might be putting a few stories up for adoption, but I'm not sure yet. For those who have sent messages and have yet to receive a response, I truly apologize. I used to be extremely active on FFN and my email box is flooded with hundreds of emails every day from C2's and various updates. I'm working on weeding through it all and cutting all my subscriptions down, but the fact remains that I regularly have over seven thousand emails in my box to go through. It's taking a long time. I wish to thank you now for your messages, in the likelihood that by the time I come across them in my email account several months will have passed from their original send date. I have been around FFN for over ten years now. I don't think I could ever truly leave it, even if I simply disappear into the background. There is so much imagination put into the works I read, from authors new and old. So many wonderful ideas and beautiful creations, despite the fact that all of us play with someone else's old toys. I hope to be around for much longer (or at least until the site becomes completely irredeemable). I wish for all of you to keep up the good work.
