Author has written 13 stories for Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Smallville, and Mai HiME. These biography things tend to leave me a bit flustered...how does one let others know about them without sounding trite? No idea. Guess we'll start with the basics: I'm a thirty-something IT security professional who happens to write for the fun of it. Now and again, I drift away from my stories but I always return in due course. My passions aren't limited to yuri/non-yuri anime or manga...there's a bit of Moliere and Clive Barker in there for fun. Favourite anime: NOIR (naturally), Mai-HiME, Bakuretsu Tenshi, WitchHunter Robin, Kamichu, Otogizoushi, GiTS (every single episode, every single OVA), Gunslinger Girl, Fate/Stay Night, Patlabor, Kurau Phantom Memory, Jin Roh, The Place Promised in Our Early Days, Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, Read or Die (OVA and TV Series), Marimite (naturally). Favourite Manga: Iono-sama, Lady Snowblood, Ichigo Mashimaro, all of the ROBOT series artbooks/manga (Murata Range is incredible), Hayate X Blade, Kashimashi, Voiceful, Aoi Hana (Sweet Blue Flowers), Rakuen no Jouken, Sasamekikoto, Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, Hatsukoi Shimai, Strawberry Shake Sweet, Shoujo Sect (don't ask me why...it's as pervy as they come), Maka-Maka (pervy but sweet at times), Read or Die, Kotonoha no Miko to Kotodama no Majyo to, the list goeth on. I won't even go into some of my favourite books...the list is too long and varied. Favourite pairings: This particular topic caused me no end of frustration, mostly my favourite pairings tend to be sort of...odd. For example: I really do think that Noa Izumi and Kanuka Clancy actually make an interesting pairing (well, so do Kanuka/Kumagami and Kanuka/Shinobu Nagumo). ShizNat (naturally), Arika/Nina (don't ask me why...some days I wonder what the hell I'm thinking), Mirielle/Kirika, and so on. Likes: Fanfiction that is plot-driven (and not just porn with the barest hint of a plot), intelligent, grammatically sound, and uses the elements of writing properly (granted I make mistakes too but misspellings in a story turn me off in a New York minute). Dislikes: Bad spelling, bad grammar, racists, homophobes, people who drive in the left hand lane (and I'm talking about the American style of driving...have you people not learned what a PASSING LANE is for??), people who blow smoke in my face and those unfortunates afflicted with poor fashion sense.
