Author has written 8 stories for Beautiful Dead, Twilight, Harry Potter, Merlin, and Short Second Life of Bree Tanner.

“If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot…reading is the creative center of a writer’s life…you cannot hope to sweep someone else away by the force of your writing until it has been done to you.”
–Stephen King

“Most of the writers I know are weird hybrids. There’s a strong streak of egomania coupled with extreme shyness. Writing’s kind of like exhibitionism in private. And there’s also a strange loneliness, and a desire to have some kind of conversation with people, but not a real great ability to do it in person.”
–David Foster Wallace

Hi, I'm Jessica-Lilian, formerly Phantom.Sorceress and wicked.witch308; I'm nineteen and from England.

My favourite books include 'About a Boy', 'Vernon God Little', 'The Boy with the Cuckoo-Clock Heart', Harry Potter, 'The Thirteenth Tale', A Song of Ice and Fire and the Hunger Games.

I mostly read Harry Potter fics. I love Dark!Harry fics, and I used to be a Harry/Ginny shipper - nowadays I mostly read slash pairings. Pairings that I like are Drarry, Sirry, Wolfstar, Tomarry, James/Lily, Ron/Luna, and Ginny/Neville. But there are some pairings that I just cannot stand, and those include Harmony, Harry/Luna, Ginny/Draco, Romione, Dramione, Ron/Harry and Snarry. Don't ask why I don't like these because either I have no specific reasons, I just don't, and can't explain it; or I have lots of reasons you probably don't want to be bored with. I love WBWL fics - those are the only exception to my distaste for OC's - and Marauder era fics! But on the other hand, I don't really read next-gen fics.

I really love Merlin fics, too - that is my most frequented fandom after HP. I ship Merthur, mostly, but I also adore Merwaine. And Gwencelot, of course Gwencelot.

Thanks to the last movie, I recently re-discovered the Twilight fandom, though I don't ship Bella/Edward quite as exclusively as I used to. I also enjoy Bella/Jasper and Bella/Paul fics, though I still don't like Jacob.

I'm a total Delena shipper, and I love Eric/Sookie, which is why I've gone off True Blood - books and T.V. series, because they're destroying that ship!

Things that really irritate me are self-inserts. Especially self-inserts that are masquerading as OCs - sometimes it's just obvious. Another thing is OCs as main characters. I don't mind them as extras or even as a significant plot device, but I think that if you want to write a story about an original character, then you should write an original story. If an OC is important enough that it's mentioned in the summary then there's a 98% chance I'm not going to read that story.

Most of my inspiration comes from the music that I listen to, which is anything and everything, really.

My all-time favourite movies are 'Mean Girls', 'The Lost Boys' and 'Back to the Future'.

My favourite t.v. shows are Supernatural, Game of Thrones, Merlin, The Big Bang Theory, the Vampire Diaries, the IT Crowd and Glee (I'm a HUGE fan of Puckleberry).

"Reality is over-rated." - One Day, David Nicholls

"You're cursed when you realise true things, because then you can't act with the full confidence of dumbness anymore." - Vernon God Little, DBC Pierre

"What's death. An eternity of life. Don't stress on it."

"Don't be bitter; it leads to Botox."

"An apple a day keeps the doctor away, if well aimed."

"The only reason I'm here is because heaven wouldn't have me and hell was afraid I'd take over."

"Fate always pays attention what you think, then slams it up your ass!" - Vernon God Little, DBC Pierre

"Your village phoned. They want their idiot back."

"Nobility isn't a title, it's what's in a man's heart."
