What I Write
Tamora Pierce and LJ Smith fic are my playgrounds. I also write some original work, whilst pretending to be doing something constructive with my life, though most of it never leaves my hard drive. My fictionpress account is under Kiana Caelum. If you're looking for somewhere to start, Chimera's probably the best place. I also moonlight in Harry Potter and Obernewtyn fandom from time to time.
In Progress: (July 24th 2008) Part Fifteen of A Lady's Shield. Part Six of Long Lost.
Recently completed: Ripples, a Nightworld story about family, sacrifice, love and deceit. The Devil May Care, a five-part story featuring Blue and Chatoya. The first four batches of requests up on my LiveJournal (http://ki-scribbles.livejournal.com), around twenty short stories with characters from my fic.
If you're looking for stories with Blue, try: Shimmer, Nightfire, Chimera, The Devil May Care, Cruel To Be Kind, Ripples, The Edge of the Horizon, My December, Vice
Beta-Reader: My beta reader is MorbiDreamscape, and she is fabulous.
A Bit About Me
Name: Ki
Age: 24
Nationality: British
Location: London, baby.
The quirks:
I'm Ki, and I like pina coladas, and gettin' caught in the rain...well, actually, I like Archers and lemonade if you're buying. I'm a retail wench, and when I'm not seen with a drink in one hand and a man in the other - all perfectly decent, of course, the man in question is my very-much-better half - I work in retail to fund my decadent habits (and it isn't just any retail company either...)
Among those brave and darling people who are my friends, I am known to be impulsive, neurotic and just a tad insane. I have a vast overdraft, a rickety car which I frequently run into things (bridges, posts, the man across the road's Merc...), and an ever-expanding collection of random junk. My sense of humour is black, sarcastic and silly.
In my spare time, I read, belly dance, prop up my local bar, schmooze and occasionally save a fluffy kitten from almost certain doom.
Please feel free to IM me on FFN or email me! I love hearing from people.
