Poll: If I wrote a Mass Effect 3 alternate ending fic, would you read it? Vote Now! |
Author has written 5 stories for Mass Effect. Bio: I'm a female high school senior in the U.S.A. and an aspiring writer. I love languages, calculus, and music. My eyesight is awful and I can't see much without contact lenses. I drink tea as an everyday thing and love video games :) RPGs are way better than FPSs. I can't play a game that has more combat than plot. My fanfic stories are generally relationship-oriented, whether it's romance or friendship. I'm a bit of an unreliable updater, since I spend a lot of time working on my own original writing as well as fanfiction. School keeps me incredibly busy, especially since it's senior year and I'm applying for college! Thanks for stopping by my profile :) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx FAQ: All of your stories are connected! Which one do I start with? Start with "Commander Shepard, You've Got Mail." All of the other Mass Effect stories stem from that one, except for "It's a Human Thing," which is sort of a prequel and not necessary reading. Same goes for "Dossier: Shepard," which is a plotless piece that basically describes the Shepard I use for all my ME fanfic. Are you planning on writing an ME2 Shakarian story after CSYGM and THAFPF are over? It's a little difficult for me to give a concrete answer at this point. So I will say that I definitely have PLANS. I would love to continue Garrus and Shepard's story into the ME2 storyline (adding my little additions to the canon plot along the way). But it will depend on multiple factors, including how busy I am, what other projects I'm working on, and whether I'm still feeling the inspiration to write Mass Effect fanfic by the time my two ongoing multichapters are concluded. Rest assured that I will make an announcement when I do know for sure what my plans are. What does CSYGM and THAFPF stand for? "CSYGM" is an acronym for "Commander Shepard, You've Got Mail." THAFPF refers to its companion story, "The Heart Asks for Pleasure first." What happened to your other stories in the FF7 and Hetalia fandoms? I deleted them. They were written quite some time ago and, being the paranoid sort of writer, it makes me very nervous when people read my older writing. So I did a purge of everything from old fandoms. I understand that some of the stories were quite popular, and if anyone really misses them, I kept copies. Let me know and I'll send one your way. Can I use ideas/characters/plot points from one of your stories in my own work? It depends on the circumstances and exactly how much you are planning to borrow. Needless to say, ALWAYS ask for permission first, and ALWAYS give me credit in your author's note or description. I know plagiarism is difficult to combat on the internet, but I do consider my ideas to be my own, and having other people steal your work without permission is really a terrible experience. If you ask, I will say yes 90% of the time, as long as the above two requirements are fulfilled. But please do ask first. My readers are a loyal and observant lot, and will often report back to me if they find something in another story that corresponds too closely to something in one of mine. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx As of a while ago, I am a Shakarian shipper. For those of you who don't know, it's a Mass Effect pairing, and it's the BEST THING EVER. These are my favorite Shakarian songs, along with the verses that particularly stand out to me. Shakarian Playlist: No Light, No Light -- Florence The Machine No light, no light in your bright blue eyes And I'd do anything to make you stay Through the crowd, I was crying out Starlight -- Muse Far away But I'll never let you go My Love -- Sia You gave it all, gave into the call You came thoughtfully, loved me faithfully Tonight you will sleep for good Strangeness and Charm -- Florence The Machine The static of your arms, it is the catalyst Cosmic Love -- Florence The Machine The stars, the moon, they have all been blown out I took the stars from my eyes, and then I made a map M4 Part II -- Faunts Fight your foes you’re on your own And I need you to recover Archangel -- Two Steps From Hell (instrumental) The Heart Asks for Pleasure -- "The Piano" soundtrack (instrumental) Exogenesis: Symphony Part 2 (Cross-Pollination) -- Muse Rise above the crowds Spread, our codes to the stars Only If For A Night -- Florence the Machine And I heard your voice And the only solution was to stand and fight You Are A Tourist -- Death Cab for Cutie When there's a burning in your heart Because when you find yourself the villain in the story you have written Never Say Never -- The Fray Picture, you're the queen of everything xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Notes: I review every story that I read on my computer, but since I usually read fanfiction on my phone, I generally can't leave reviews. Sorry about that. I will favorite and subscribe, though. Constructive comments are always appreciated! | |||||||||
