Top Favorite Authors; Hello Captain: I've mostly just read her story Girls Will Be Violet and her other Resident Evil fics, and I must say, she is a damn fine writer. By far one of the best I've had the pleasure of knowing. Shakahnna: Oh my lord how this girl can turn out a story. Our resident Wesker fangirl, this young lady enjoys writing, cursing children, and thinking of more painful torture methods. She has one of the largest and by and large one of the best stories on this site intitled Resident Evil Damnation. enRAGED: I've only read one of his fics, but it is a perfect portrail of Wesker. I've been lucky enough to talk to him on AIM and I can tell we're all going to be able to see great things from this author. A Word On Flamers. People who will flame a fic without even reading it first should be shot at birth. That said, I'll now get into my serious psycotic fckng hatreds. (props to Geroge Carlin) People who will read a story, flame it like it was on a grill, then claim Freedom Of Speech are people who would as soon as wipe their asses with the Constitution as with Charmen Ultra. They don't give a crap about Freedom Of Speech, they just claim it when they want to piss others off, or hurt struggling authors. To those people, I give them a new admendmint. I call it "Freedom Of Stupidity", because you have to be dumb as dirt to claim the first admindment when it suits you, and piss on it when others don't agree with you. Do I sound like a hypocrite? A Little F.Y.I. If you read my stories, you'll find more and more that I am a total gun nut. Now, when it comes to guns in these stories, I do not go by what they sound like in the video game/movie/TV Show/Book. I go by what they really sound like. I've been up at the local gun range a shit load of times, and I know how the guns sound very well. In Resident Evil, they give you a 9millimeter pistol to start out with, however I don't like the 9mm. I guess it's mostly because I'm an Old School American, but I have my reasons for my dislike of the 9mm. So if I can avoid it, I'm going to use something else in my stories. Just a little warning for all those who'll want to point out the lack of Beretta's as a mistake on my part. News as of 12/07/03: Well, after finishing "Turn The Page", I've now started on a brand new fic. I can't really tell you the name of it yet...I'm kinda wantin' it to be a surprise. Well, I don't want it to be THAT much of a surprise, so I'll tell you that it's called "Failure To Protect". Now, I'm not gonna tell you any thing else. Mostly because I don't know much myself. I'm still working on it, and I'll post it when it's done. At the rate I write, expect it some time next year. Just kidding, but I'll be a while. News as of 02/03/04 "Failure To Protect" has been renamed "One Chance" and it is progressing slower than I had hoped. I've been having a bad case of brain cramps because I need to connect these two parts, and that's a bitch. I think once that is done, everything should go smoothly. Wish me luck.
