I am thegymrat, and that's funny because I don't do what I used to do that got me that name anymore. I used to be a gymnast but I haven't been for over a year, I've just gotten stuck on the name. That last quote needs some explanation. You see, in 1990 there was a dead whale on the beach(not sure if Oregon is where it was), and instead of moving it like normal people, the guys in charge decided it'd be fun to blow it up. So they stuck about half a ton of TNT on it and POW! Of course, they hadn't thought through what would happen when a creature that wayed dozens of tons was detonated. Big ol' pieces of blubber went everywhere, crushing things like cars and such. I don't know if anyone got hurt. So yes, that quote is real.
