Hello! I'm Kat (or Kitty, or Katherina), and you've managed to stumble across my profile somehow, either by chance or by choice. If the former, I apologize in advance. If the latter, I commend you for your bravery, and welcome you. Enjoy!
REGARDING PRODUCTIVITY LEVELS IN THE NEAR FUTURE:
"Complications" is such a wonderful word, isn't it?
I'm just gonna go die over here. Somewhere.
Notice regarding old Bleach works/D Gray-Man fics/HP/X-Men crossovers:
Copies. I will send them if you want, but I'm not going repost the stories. That would defeat the whole purpose of taking them down.
Edit: If you're going to send me your email address, for the love of little green apples, ADD SOME SPACES OR PARENTHESES. Like this: katherina. ahl@ gmail.com or katherina(dot)ahl(@)gmail(dot)com. Otherwise ffn in its infinite wisdom will simply eat it.
DGM: Dreamer Awakened, Overflowing, Snow and Shadow: Fifty Themes
Bleach: The Secret of the 13th Division (Dear heavens, my titles were awful)
Harry Potter/X-Men: Falling, Family, Mornings, Freak Like Me, Only Time, Rhododendrons
Find me on LiveJournal and AO3! I'm black_k_kat at the former and blackkat at the latter (and a mirror account on Dreamwidth as blackkat, now that I think of it). On FFN, I've got another account with my old Bleach stories, under the name Drown Me In Blue.
As for LJ, feel free to friend me, but if you're going to, drop me a quick message or something. (I'd like to ask the same here, if people add me as a favorite author. Is that reasonable?) Also be warned that I'll babble randomly about my wife, my cats, my writing, music, books...in other words, anything that pops into my head before someone can peel me away from my keyboard.
Longfic WIP status:
My current typing speed comes out to something like two words a minute, and that's when I'm not so drugged I keep getting distracted by pretty shadows on the wall (admittedly, this isn't that different than normal, just...more so). So, IJatAP (and wow, I really need to start picking shorter titles or titles with better acronyms) is still very much a work in progress. It just...isn't progressing as fast as it used to. There's only one more chapter, though! :D
(I know those of you who are familiar with my writing are cringing right now, remembering my physical inability to write anything resembling a final chapter with any speed at all. But please, have faith. This story was meant to be posted as a very long one-shot, so I've got the ending settled in my head. [Mostly.] I just need to write it up!)
Aaaand IJatAP has a playlist to accompany it, because I'm a ridiculous person. Though, really, I usually just have one song on repeat while I'm writing (which drives my wife absolutely insane), so this is an improvement, probably.

Each song corresponds (roughly) to a section of the story: first song with first section, etc. There is (perhaps by necessity) a bit of band repetition, but they're great bands, and I'd recommend checking out all of their stuff. *shameless pimping*
