Well… hi, and welcome to my profile!

I was born in 1994, coincidentally the same year democracy took over in my country – South Africa.

I am a Christian. I believe in God, Jesus and everything. I believe that Jesus is my savior. If you’re wondering why I can believe in a God while war rages, remember that God’s greatest gift to man is choice. Often it feels like we aren’t given much of a choice, it feels like God deals the cards, and we play them. Just remember that God warned man that war will rage. Each of us will be tested – because gold needs to be purified before it’s pure. Being a Christian does not mean I’m perfect, or that I don’t sin. It only means I believe that Jesus is my savior.

Um… my favorite color is black. Followed by silver and green – light green. Yeah… I’m a Slytherin, self-chosen, but according to JK Rowling on Pottermore, I am a Ravenclaw.

I consider myself quite a dark person… as I have a twisted sense of humor. And if you want to give me the sermon of 'Christians aren't dark people' - I advise you to save it, don't judge me before you've walked a mile in my shoes, because then you have my shoes and hopefully some sort of foot fungi or a bunch of blisters too, hey, I'm not going to give the most comfortable pair of shoes I have or the cleanest pair I have.

I’m the type of girl that freaks everyone out when they first meet her, but it’s mostly because I’m random. I’m an artist, I write, I paint, I draw, I do graphic design, I write poems and songs (or I try), I'm paranoid, I freak out, I don't trust easily, I have 20 personalities in my head, each with their own worlds, I'm manipulative, I get angry easily, but I don't stay angry long enough, but the day you do anger me and it lingers, you'll be sorry. When you screw with someone I love, I will make you pay.

My nickname, SkyeElf, was born from me having an overactive imagination - I write original works too, and for a while I was obsessed with the name 'Skye' - still am, as a matter of fact, thus I put it up there. The Elf part coms from the World of Warcraft - someone told me I'd be the perfect Night Elf - so, from that SkyeElf was born. But you may call me Miss Elf.

I am staff of the community Feasts of Friendship, where there are great friendship fic, concerning mainly Harry and Ron, Remus and Sirius or Seamus and Dean. Some fics are slash, though there are great friendship fics among them.

I'm staff of the community OWL, where OWL stands for Original Wizard/Witches Love! That's right! In this community, we love well written OCS! If you love reading CanonxOC stories, come right in! And if you hate OCs, I don't see why you should choose a story with an OC in it, just to flame it.

Skye Night:

Skye Night is a nominee in the category 'best fic overall' in The Harry Potter fanfiction Awards. Fingers crossed!

I know this fic needs editing, and it will get it.

I was completely overwhelmed by the response I got for this fic, and it was my first multi-chaptered fic too. I am immensly proud of it. Oh, a summary would be nice, would'nt it?

Okay: She's a freak, and enjoys it. But in the war to come she's a key - the main key. There's no runing from it. At least she's got her family, her very odd, mismatched and unrelated family. And there's Draco. Nothing is as it seems, but it's okay. They wouldn't have it any other way.

Skye grew up in an Orphanage, being the outcast wasn't exactly fun. The day McGonagall handed her the letter, she left her dingy room.

A year later she finds out who her father is, and she learns her story. Skye Night is everything but an ordinary witch...

Guardian Angel

It's Dark!Harry, post-war and disregards the epilogue.

Harry is sick of the Wizarding World's constant turning their backs on him and using him only when needed, that he bails. He gets a new hobby, one so cruel and rather sadistic - and it's just to get an adrenaline rush.

Now being co-written with Batmarcus. In the majority, though some chapters will still be entirely mine.

A story where Draco tried to commit suicide, because everything just became too much for him to handle. Blaise finds his diary, where he explains the why, and the who, of his attempt. Suicide isn't a joke.

Raven Riddle is in the fic Barmarcus and I are co-writing, Tales of Lestrange. Raven is Roderick's brother... and Voldemort's son. Yeah, I went there.

Dan Brown presents a controversy. The Da Vinci Code has had many scholars angry and confused – but I think the guy makes a valid point in his books.

And, of course, King of Shadows by Susan Cooper. A story about a boy that sort of goes back in time and meets William Shakespeare. There he plays a part in a Midsummer Night’s Dream as Puck.

John van de Ruit - the author of Spud. I love the guy for creating Vern Blackadder!

TV shows: Glee, Monk, Haven, Supernatural, Ghost Whisperer, Smallville, Shake it up, Pair of Kings and Teen Wolf.

Cartoons (yes, I still watch those… sometimes…): Cow and Chicken (Fat cow… gotta love her…), I Am Weasel (I like the theme song… ‘You don’t need pants for the victory dance, ‘cause Baboon is better than Weasel, I R Baboon, big star of cartoon…), Adventure Time, Avatar: Last Airbender and Jane and the Dragon.

Other artists I like: My Chemical Romance, Eminem, P!nk, The Wanted, The Used, Angels and Airwaves, The Parlotones, Good Charlotte, Placebo and Bruno Mars.

My fave HP characters are Draco and Snape. And I think Alan Rickman should get a golden globe for his performance as Snape, as it was almost true… Snape’s sarcasm always drew me in, as I enjoy sarcasm just as much. “Ghosts are transparent” is my new motto! (Yes, you’re allowed to laugh…) I’ve always liked Snape, even when he was a badguy. Or when we thought he was a badguy. It had everything to do with the mystery he provided, and the love that one just had to hate him.

I love Draco the character. I think he was brainwashed and that he’s slightly broken. The fact that he’s a badguy and a Slytherin makes him all that more appealing to me. Plus, Tom Felton… enough said.

And there's Ron, of course - who I happen to love, even if he's got the emotional range of a teaspoon. He's a right, foul git (as Harry put it) at times, but mostly he's a fantastic friend, I'd give almost anything to have a friend like him! And in the movies he was portrayed differently than in the books. And all of you hating on him for leaving Harry and Hermione during the Horcrux hunt, and when he got jealous of Harry in 4th year, just remember that sometimes we make mistakes, but Ron came back - he always did. It goes to show that no one's perfect, and it only heightened the terror he felt. Just think - everyone you love is in danger. He's got a big family, and they're on the traitor-list. Who wouldn't be defensive about it? I mean, besides if you don't have a heart and enjoy watching your kin die.

And, for some reason, I have this infatuation with Fenrir Greyback... it just sort of jumped on me...

My favorite Hunger Games character is Haymitch - though why, I have no idea. Followed closely by Rue. And after watching the movie, I love Peeta too. Call me evil, but Snow too, hey, I'm a sucker for a civilized antagonist. Or semi-civilized, I guess.

The other I was called a cross between Katniss and Snow. Um... is that a good or a bad thing?

In Spud my favorite characters are Spud, Gecko, Vern and Mad Dog. Rambo just somehow ticks me off, but poor Gecko... Vern is awesomely weird, and Mad Dog is a heck load of fun. Fattie's sweet too, I guess, and Wombat is frickin hilarious. I don't like the Mermaid or Amanda - neither of them are worthy of Spud's affections. Oh, and the Guv.

Glee - Kurt and Finn are my two favourite characters.

From The Outsiders I love Dally, I have no idea why, but he's just such a great character and I reckon there's more to him than meets the eye.

Pirates of the Caribbean is slowly taking over my Harry Potter obsession, something I didn't think possible. My favourite characters there are, obviously, Jack Sparrow, and Davey Jones.

In Divergent it's Tobias, or Four, I just love that guy. In Maximum Ride my favourite character is, quite predictably, Fang, followed by Max.

In Code Geass my favourite character is Lelouch, he is a bit like me, especially in the dramatic part, and then it's Suzaku and C.C.

In Fairytail I like Gray, he's hilarious.

Death Note - L and Near. L is purely awesome and Near is just adorable. Light's somewhere in my favourites, I'm not sure where yet.

Bashing!

I have both read and enjoyed bashing fics, but bashing to me is... childish, I guess. If you don't like a character, don't write about them or keep them out of your story. Don't just call said character a slut or a moron because you don't like him - avoid all writing about him (or her).

Introductions

This is what makes or breaks your story. If you start with the typical My Immortal introductory, people will immediately think of it as a Mary-sue and be done with it. No, I don't hate OCs. If your character is a Mary-sue, I couldn't care less, but make it a good story, dearie, and I'll overlook it.

SkyeElf's Challenge!

l choose a prompt and a pairing. Now it has been changed to the winner of the previous week giving a prompt and judging. The prize? A fic written by either me or that week's judge. If there isn't a jdge mentioned, I am by default the judge. I'll need you to PM me if you're participating or when you've posted the story. There is no word limit, you can even make it a multi-chapter, but it has to be complete.

The challenge will be mainly on Harry Potter and Hunger Games.

Challenge 1: What happened to Pansy and Theo after they left school? One-shot.

Challenge 2: Clove has a dream whilst in the arena, what is it? No Romance needed at all, it can be horror personified. Cato/Clove.

Now... my fics are down there - feel free to read 'em. But I won't force ya to. Vern will, though... or he'll set Sweeney on you - the two of them are on good terms as I understand it.

I know I'm not updating Skye Night: The Final Battle as much as I should, but I have just finished my last year of school, and finding time to write a heavily detailed fic, such as SN, is rather hard. This is why my other fics get more attention now. I can slap a chapter together of 1000 words in an hour and update - SN requires a tiny bit more thought than that. Don't get me wrong, I put a lot of effort into my writing - ALWAYS! I don't like my things to be riddled with mistakes. My other multi-chaptered fics all takes a lot of thinking, but SN has a vast array of characters to keep track off.

But now we almost see the end of this two book series. I think at most another ten chapters and we're finished! My second multi-cha[tered fic will be finished!

I didn't like the last episode of Death Note, and not becasue Light died. Kira did deserve to die, I was just disappointed in the manner of death and the stuff before it. I felt Light was a bit OOC, but then again, he might just have gone crazier than he already was. I nearly cried my eyes out when L died, and I refused to watch the series further, until I got bored again and I saw the ADORABLE Near. I still miss L.

I may not be perfect... but Jesus thinks I'm to die for!
