Author has written 13 stories for Harry Potter. Well what can I say, I am an archaeologist-come-museum curator that lives in the West Country in England who wastes her time writing fan fictions when she should be either working or growing up! I think it's a great way to break up the mundane. So, if you want to know a little bit about me, here’s a few random facts you might like to know… 1. I have a skeleton in my room called Bob Fossil which my flatmates regularly dress in different clothes or hats 2. When I was younger I used to call swans Grimbits, think they were goblins in disguise and couldn’t cross bridges 3. I once spent two weeks digging up a Bronze Age field boundary in a bog using only a trowel and a pump on a generator to stop myself drowning 4. I know all the words to The Mummy and Lord of the Rings and quote them regularly at inopportune moments 5. I was once a sloth in a school play and spent the whole play walking very slowly from one side to the next 6. I currently work in a castle and get to go into all of Somerset’s museums for free 7. I once dressed as a woodland nymph, dancing as part of a carnival float in a small Flemish town 8. I write Harry Potter fanfiction but most of them are were written a while ago now, so "Harry Potter and Firelight’s Heir" and its (incomplete) sequel "Harry Potter and the Gathering Storm" were written before book 5 came out.
