Author has written 11 stories for Portal, Legend of Zelda, How to Train Your Dragon, Avatar: Last Airbender, and Sherlock.

I'm back, and writing again! Currently working on Yoshi's Island and NTVBEA.

Well! I can't believe this, but I'm actually starting to write fan fiction again. Shoot me. Seriously.

'Ello! I am saphira and shruikan, though I would VERY much prefer to be called Saphruikan. Unfortunately, someone already took that name. Damn.

So, some info about me:

I am: female, 16 years old, American, and a total nerd.

Likes:

Movies: How To Train Your Dragon. There is literally no better movie.

Books: Harry Potter, of course, Fullmetal Alchemist, Temeraire, Inheritance (even if the series kind of sucks), Game of Thrones.

Shows: Firefly, Supernatural, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Games: The Legend Of Zelda, Portal, Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, and Yoshi's Island.

Music: Florence The Machine. Ho Jesus. All hail the ginger goddess.

General: I am an avid bird lover and own a cockatiel named Leo, and he's the annoying, nippy, stupid light of my life. I also simply adore pit bulls because I own one, a beautiful sweet girl named Pia. I think they're the best breed ever, and I'm kind of insufferable about it. Sorry.

In stories: What do I like in a good story? Well, there's grammar and punctuation, for one, of course. There's also tenacity and vibrance and genius I like in a story. I like foreshadowing and character development and tackle-hugs and revelations. I like sappy reunions and declarations of love that do not involve immediate aftersex. I like a believable amount of gore and pain and flaws in a personality. I like childhood crushes and death angst and realistic tears.

Mostly, I like a good story. So if you've got one or you know one, shoot me a PM so I can check it out!

Ships: I ship Royai hardcore. I also ship Saphira/Shruikan (go figure), Altair/Maria Thorpe, Ezio Auditore/Sofia, Kurt/Blaine, Kurt/Karosfky, Link/Zelda, Hawkeye/Black Widow, Aang/Katara, Zuko/Mai, Sokka/Suki, Toph/The Dark One, Korra/Bolin, Tenzin/Pema, Mako/Asami, Kaylee/Simon, Inara/Mal, Castiel/Meg (guilty pleasure), Dean/Lisa, Jon Snow/Ygritte, Tyrion/Shae, and Jaime/Brienne (another guilty pleasure, but COME ON, how can you not ship them?).

Goals in life: To be happy, to be nice, to be successful. More specifically, I wish to own pit bulls and birds all my life, to finish all my stories, to have one of my stories worthy enough to be recommended on TvTropes, to finish Yoshi's Island, and to play every single Legend of Zelda game that there ever was and ever shall be.

Where I stand on various things: I am pro-gay and pro-choice (flame me on this and I will tear your arms off) and pro-bird wing clipping (this too). I am pro-equality, but not too extreme that we are all the same. I believe in God, but don't care if you don't. I am Christian, but only in the loosest of definitions; I judge people on how nice they are, not by what they do, and haven't been to Church in years. I am anti-yaoi, anti-flaming, anti-bullying, anti-trolling, and anti-general assholism. I do not care for politics or government. I love teachers and respect elders, and hate it when other people don't. I am against giving your pets plastic surgery, or makeovers, or tattoos (doggy tattoos? SERIOUSLY?). I am feminist, but not rabid about it; I hate it when girls get special privileges just because they weren't equal thirty years ago. Same with African Americans.

I HATE YAOI. I just don't like that people have to obsessively pair everybody with . . . well, everybody. It all just seems terribly, terribly OOC.

I DO NOT WRITE SEX. Yaoi or hentai or slash or lemon or whatever you want to call it. I hate the stuff, I don't read it, I don't write it. I stick with fluffy/platonic relationships. I do write romance (if you can call my crappy attempts at affection romance) but there is no sex. Maybe implied, never described.

My interest lies in writing, not art. I am a terrible drawer. I have little to no talent, but with my recent downloading of GIMP, I actually have some quality fanart right now. . . . So if you want, here's my DeviantArt: http://saphruikan.deviantart.com/

Yes, I do appreciate my family.
Yes, I do appreciate God.
Yes, I do appreciate my life.
Yes, I am lucky that I'm alive this day.

And guess what? None of the fucking million quotes on your profile got me there.
They change nothing. So stop acting like you're a goddamn hero for copying and pasting a thousand and one different quotes that everyone has seen already. Your profile is for you. Not the meaningless words made up by someone else.

Update Priority List (from most important to least):
Yoshi's Island
The Crimson Loftwing
How To Train Your Dog
Not-So-Forbidden Friendship
Not The Very Best Experience, Actually

WARNINGS:
1) I absolutely love pit bulls. I incorporate them into many of my works, to the point of bluntly shoehorning them in. If this will annoy you, or if you just don't like pit bulls, than please turn back now. As of now . . . *counts on fingers* three of my planned/current stories have pit bulls in them. Those three are Yoshi's Island, How To Train Your Dog, and Not The Very Best Experience, Actually. That number could go up.
2) I curse a lot. I know cursing is mostly annoying, but I believe it can be used sometimes to add emphasis, seriousness, or playfulness. Two of my stories have got serious cursing already (f* and above) so if this offends you, don't read 'em. They are Yoshi's Island and Not The Very Best Experience, Actually. If I don't curse in my stories I might let slip some swearing in my comments after the chapter.
3) Picture me talking in the friendliest tone possible. Even if I curse, I'm usually kidding. Don't be offended by anything I say.
4) I take a while. I don't write every night (though I try to) like other people do. If you want me to hurry up then yell at me, that always motivates me.

Stories planned (but sadly may never come to fruition):

Do You Believe Me Now? (Skyward Sword): Cawlin's never been very close to his Loftwing. But he needs her like never before when a certain someone messes up his potential relationship with Karane. Oneshot. Haven't started. . . .

Dragonshy (Skyward Sword): It's common knowledge that Strich just loves bugs. It's too bad his Loftwing hates them with a passion. Oneshot. Haven't started. . . .

Atoned (Avatar: The Last Airbender): Being the Fire Lord came with its fair share of terribly important duties. But there's just a few personal things Zuko has to take care of first. Haven't started. . . .

Discordia (Friendship Is Magic): Most legends are heroic. Some are tragic. And others are just better left untold. Have started!

You'll Come Around (Skyward Sword): Groose tries to convince his Loftwing to stay on the surface with him. Oneshot. Haven't started. . . .

Yoshi's Island: This story is the reason I joined FF.net, and is the first game I ever played. I am seven and a half chapters in and revising majorly. I will start posting it when I finish nine chapters. This likely won't be done until a long time. FOUND AN AWESOME BETA, THOUGH.

If you're interested, read my fics! But if you want much much better fics, then go to my Favorites folder. I only favorite the best!

PLEASE NOTE: Since I've dealt with plagiarism before, I'm a little paranoid about it. I post my fics here and on Archive Of Our Own and Deviantart under the penname Saphruikan. If you see my fics anywhere else, PLEASE report them, and tell me.

/)3(\ SO AWESOME!
