Author has written 12 stories for Harry Potter, Song of the Lioness, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Book X-overs, Numb3rs, Highlander, Star Trek: 2009, Lord of the Rings, Stargate: SG-1, and Twilight. As of 11/11/11: Sigh* I've removed half a dozen fics from my posted repertoire: -Chosen Destiny- a Sailor Moon/Lord of the Rings fic that never really got started and that only a few people expressed an interest in. Unless something pulls me back to the Sailor Moon-verse, I probably won’t repost it. -Fate & Destiny- An Immortals (Tamora Pierce)/Lord of the Rings fic, that also hung around for a while. But I could never really get it going. -Mage-A Harry Potter/Sailor Moon fanfic that was supposed to be the prequel for another ongoing story of mine: Lady Serenity. Honestly, I found it enjoyable, but it, too, requires revision if I ever intend to post it again. And first I have to find some interest in the Lily/James Potter romance angle again, before I could really pull it off. I’m not sure why, but I mostly only read HP fan fics that focus on Harry now. -Midae-A Harry Potter/X-Men crossover, in which Rogue is a witch. Never got past the first chapter. If anyone’s interested in adopting it, they could take it pretty much anywhere. -Reginna Flamma-A Song of the Lioness (Tamora Pierce) AU, that made it its short third chapter, but never really past that. I had plenty of ideas for it, but if I do get around to posting them eventually, it’ll be in a heavily revised story. -True Chosen- Probably the most popular of the fan fics I removed: a Star Wars-Jedi Apprentice fan fic that centered around the idea that Obi-Wan was actually the Chosen One. I got stuck in the Melidaa/Daan issue, and eventually lost interest in the fandom. If inspiration strikes, I might start posting this again some day, but it’d require some pretty heavy revising, since I don’t really care for my writing from junior high and high school. If you’d like to attempt adopting one of these stories, feel free to email me. If I agree with the ideas you have for it, I’ll be happy to help when/however I can. Sorry to anyone who was waiting to see any of the above updated. As for those that are left? Hopefully I’ll get around to updating—and finishing—all of them. I enjoy writing (and reading) fan fiction, but neither provides any sort of income. So while I hope to finish everything, I can’t promise I’ll devote exorbitant amounts of time into doing so. Constructive criticism and even just encouraging reviews are really my best friend in that regard. Sometimes they’re the only thing that brings me back to a fan fic that had otherwise left my head entirely, and may remain floating outside of it for quite a while on its own. Of the fan fics currently posted, I intended to finish them all eventually. ‘Eventually’ being the key word. Bye for now! ^_^ ~ Jess S | |||||
