Kay. This thing got updated a few weeks ago, and tonight, it's getting a full overhaul, just cause it can.
Basics:
18, female, currently a literature/political science student, possibly going to be a stagecraft student in the near future. I volunteer part-time a a few loccal theatres and absolutely love assistant stage managing, most fun ever. Am considering stage manager, script supervisor (continuity supervisor) or screenwriter as possible careers. As you can tell, I want to be involved in the entertainment industry in a non-performing capacity.
I love fanfiction. I'm sure everyone on this site does, cause why else would we be here? My first stories were fanfics (albeit, not very good ones) and I still write more fanfics than original stories. Though I am working on my first screenplay, so there's hope for me yet. And maybe one of these days I'll start a chaptered fic and finish it. I love writing and reading one-shot becuase they're like instant gratification. I can write for two hours, and at the end of it, have a complete story. Then I can start a new document, and write a ompletely different, entirely unrelated to the first one.
I have been influenced by so many authors on this site, I don't know that I could name them all, but I know that any skill I am developing as a writer is partly because of the skill and talent on this site.
I do have to give a particular shout-out to Print Dust, mostly cause she asked me to. Also? She just plain rocks.
Okay, so. What does one say on here?
My 'ships:
-Semperance (Bones) - such opposites, so clearly attracted to each other, such chemistry. Gah. What more can you ask for in a 'ship?
-Buffy/Angel - What can I say? I have a thing for tragic till-the-end-of-time soulmate type love.
-Lily/James (Harry Potter) - one of my earliest 'ships. Gotta love the love-hate.
-Anne/Gilbert (Anne of Green Gables-Anne of the Island) My first 'ship. I only liked them before they got together, I didn't like how their marriage was handled and we didn't get much of a courtship.
-Christian/ Satine - romantic tragedy at its best.
To save myself having to make the same request in every story: please, please review. My current dream for the future is to write for a TV show, and that's kinda like fanfiction in script format...and you get to see the actors act out your story, so please, comments on my paing, my dialogue, my characterization are VERY MUCH appreciated, even if you have to tell me I'm way off about something. Thanks.
