For an indefinite amount of time, I will be on this site to read, rather than to write.
You see my To-Read List a little further down this Profile Page? I plan to complete that before writing anything.
I have to finish my earlier commitments before moving forward, you understand?

Oh, the only exception to this read-only phase is What Ifs and Why Nots.
I'll be extremely slow, but I'll get it done. I just don't know when I'll get started, because my new laptop does not have MS Word.

In line with that, I've been drawing more often than writing.

Well, I realized that's been happening to me too quickly, especially after I became active online.

Basic Information...
My real name is Celine.
You may call me that, if you like.
Or you can do what everyone else seems to have done and create your own, special nickname for me from my Pen Name! Hahaha!

I was born on July 9, several years ago. I am not telling you my age, but only because I love it when people try to guess.

Not-so-Basic Information...
I will not be listing my favorite things or things that I dislike.Those are things you could always just ask me, if you feel curious.
Instead, I will just write some random trivia about myself or some interesting snippet of my life and change it every now and then.
That is, until I get lazy and end up writing a list. Hahaha!

I've thought of a possibly interesting snippet of my life to tell you.
In fact, I was thinking of using this in one of my stories, but I couldn't decide how to, exactly.
Anyway, this happened when I was six or seven years old. I was in the first grade, I think.

There were three boys in my class who wanted to, uhm, marry me.
They argued about it energetically, each of them trying to convince me that he was better than the others.
Stronger. Smarter. Cuter. That kind of thing.
Before it got out of hand, I wanted to put an end to it. So I gave them this challenge: draw me a car. Whoever drew me the best car wins.

They took to that very, very seriously. And then when all three of them were finished, they showed me their drawings.

I might sound mean saying this, but I rejected one immediately. He drew a car like a child. And, yes, I know he was a child.
But really. Compared to the competition? You wouldn't blame me for rejecting him.
I can hardly remember his drawing because I didn't like it much. If it's any consolation, I rejected him graciously.

Moving on.

The second one was better. His car had beautiful details.
It was a sports car, I think; a convertible with the top drawn back and he was so proud of how stylish it was.

The third boy, though... He blew me away. Why? Well, because!
Not only did he draw me a car - a nice one at that - but also so much more.
The car he drew was parked in the garage of a sizable house, with a yard, and flowers and trees, and birds flying overhead, across a sunny sky.

No contest. Hands down.

The second boy complained, telling me his car was nicer. Thinking back on it, he did have a point.
I asked them for the best car, and his car was amazing.

Still. My answer was this: "I'm sorry, but he's giving me everything I asked for and more."

What happened after that? Well, I don't want this story to get too long, so I won't get into that.
Besides, I doubt you'd want to know what happened at the pretend wedding of a pair of six-year-olds. Hahaha!

You Asked About...
My Pen Name is an anagram of two words that I am sure would be very easy to figure out. Hahaha! Or if you would rather not try but would still like to know, you could always ask me.

And here is why I like Aqua, based on the guesses you have made. Thank you, by the way, for guessing. I find your guesses very interesting and amusing.
-Because she is perfect.
Well, yes and no. Aqua is not perfect but even her flaws are beautiful to me.
-Because she is blue. Because of her color scheme.
Hahaha! I see why you would think this, especially if you knew me in real life. I do love her color scheme so I suppose I could answer this with yes. If she had been, say, green... Well, I still would have liked her, but I am pretty sure I would have wished she had been blue.
-Because she kicks butt.
Yes, of course.
-Because she is hot.
Hahaha! No. But I do appreciate her outstanding character design.
-Because you and Aqua are alike.
No... I doubt I am anything like Aqua...
-Because her theme is water.
Hmm... Yes.
-Because she is inclined towards using magic.
What? Now you're going to have to tell me how you even know that this is a preference of mine! Hahaha! Yes.

ABOUT MY WRITING

General Information...
I like all four of the pairings I typically write about, namely:
VanitasAqua
TerraAqua
ZackAqua
VentusAqua
And at the moment, you can look at that list as the sequence of my preference, but the difference between how much more I like one from the next is extremely slight. Forced, almost.

Right now, the four pairings mentioned above – particularly the first two – might be the only ones I will write about on a regular basis. And all my stories will still involve Aqua in some way.

Typically, my stories are Rated T. But that is more for safety and allowance than anything else.
I have written one Rated M story – so rated because it contains a Lemon. But that is not likely to happen again.

Genres for my stories. Hmm. I usually just label them as General because I have trouble thinking about which to choose. Although almost all my stories are romantic in some way.

I prefer writing In-Universe over Alternate-Universe, and One-Shots over Multi-Chapters.

Current Projects...
No writing for a while.

Consequences

What Is It: Basically, a collection of one shots. Each one shot is a sequel to something I have written in another story, particularly in the theme challenges.

How Goes It: Since I have posted five chapters, this is technically complete.
But seeing as how I have more of these short sequels written up and I have yet to finish Two is to One and What Ifs and Why Nots, I will leave this collection open for a while.
I'll go through the Reviews I received for A Hundred Nights with Her and see if there are other drabbles in particular that readers were curious about. If there are any, maybe I'll post the sequels to those. That is, if I already have one written. I have very little time to write anything new these days.

What Ifs and Why Nots

What Is It: Wishing-Fire's 100 Theme Challenge.
100 Prompts, 100-Word one shot for each, starring a single Character. In my case, I have two characters: Aqua and Vanitas. Officially, the character I chose is Vanitas, but all my writing includes Aqua by default.

How Goes It: Working on it.

Two is to One

What Is It: I am calling this one my Acknowledgments Collection. Hahaha!
It is very similar to the 100 Theme Challenges I worked or am working on. There will be prompts and short one shots, except the two prompts per chapter are opposites. And each chapter will have a short thank-you note for someone I wish to thank.

How Goes It: This is on hold for a while. Maybe until I finish What Ifs and Why Nots. I am also currently considering limiting this to just twenty chapters.

On Contacting Me...
Some things to remember when you send me a message:

I tend to reply very fast during the first few exchanges. That is because you are new to me and that makes me extremely curious and wary of you.
After a while, my replies will slow. This is not because you bore me or I am ignoring you. It simply means I have gotten comfortable around you. I know that makes me sound like a pet. Shush. Hahaha!

The longer your message, the longer it will take for me to reply. I usually copy longer messages onto WordPad or something and slowly type out a reply, depending on how much time I get to sit at the computer. This process often takes days.

A surefire way to get me to reply is to ask a question.
O kaya subukan mong makuha ang kiliti ko. Kasi pag naaliw ako sayo, di ko makakayanang di ka pansinin. Hahaha! If you understood that, well... Awesome.

If you did send me a message and received no reply, these are the possible reasons:

I simply forgot. This happens often, to my eternal shame. I have a terrible memory. If it so happens that there is a sizable time gap between when I read your message and when I have time to reply, then chances are I will forget.

I thought I already sent you a reply. This usually happens with older, longer messages. Because I copy them off site and then type a reply slowly, there is a possibility that I will forget I was ever working on a reply.
This happens to me when I write stories as well. Sometimes, I forget that I am working on a story and it remains unfinished. Forever.

I thought you were not expecting a reply. I am so sorry if I make this mistake. This is why I encourage you to ask me a question. That dramatically increases the chances of me responding, because the only way I would not is if I forget.

Actually, if I fail to reply, you can just automatically assume that I forgot...
I am serious; I have a terrible memory. And I am so sorry about that.

My Goals...
I wrote this list in my diary (more like planner, really) the day I joined FF.net (11/14/10). Or close to that day. Hahaha!
As of 03/12/11, I've achieved all of these goals! Thank you very much for helping me with them!

01. For one of my stories to inspire another author. (Letters Series / "Aqua's Diary" by dikemon)
02. For one of my stories to inspire an artwork. ("Fledgling")
03. For an author to dedicate a story to me. ("The Way Things Are" by MayukoMorita)
04. To write a One Shot with 10 Reviews. ("Letters to Aqua")
05. To write a Multi-Chapter with 100 Reviews. ("Escape")
06. To be on the Favorite Authors List of at least 50 Members. (As of 01/31/11)
07. For my writing to bring someone to tears, in a good way. (Not sure what story did this first...)
08. To influence the way someone feels about a character. (Not sure what story did this, or which character... I think it's Vanitas. Hahaha!)
09. For someone to deem a line I have written as a quotable quote. ("Wishing Dreamer")
10. To write a story that would be the first for a particular pairing. ("Violinist")
