- Meanwhile... -

Sensei: "Blah, blah, blah! Blah!"

Dustin: "Sensai is so boring! I thought him being a gunea pig would make him more interesting."

Me: ... (typing)

Dustin: "What are you writing?"

Me: "I'm trying to come up with a profile for FanFiction.Net."

Dustin: (looks closely) "You're just typing what we're saying, dude."

Me: "That's because I can't think of what to say. I mean, this is the first time I've done something like this (not writing of course, but posting a story online for people to read)."

Dustin: "Then why are you doing it?"

Me: "I've enjoyed so many stories on here that it's only fair that I 'give back.' Also, maybe people will actually read and provide feedback and that will inspire ideas and overall make the story better than it would have been without any outside attention."

Dustin: "So gonna change the world..."

Me: "Uh huh."

Dustin: "I hate to point this out, dude, but you don't have anything about yourself there."

Me: "Ah! Well, I guess I'd rather remain anonymous and let my writing speak for itself."

Tori: "He's just embarrassed to be associated with the kinds of tawdry things he writes."

Me: "They're not tawdry and yes, maybe I would be really embarrassed if people were to come up to me and bring up something I've written and my... interests."

Tori: "They'll think he's a weirdo."

Dustin: "But he is a weirdo."

Me: "I don't need the world to know that! I prefer to keep that side of myself a secret."

Tori: "And isn't he doing such a good job pretending not to be a weirdo?"

Dustin: "No."

Me: (glares) "It's not just that. I mean, it's no fun writing nonfiction. I don't know how to make myself sound funny or exciting. I guess I could lie..." (clears throat) "I'm a time traveler... Though, I seem to be stuck only traveling forward in time for some reason. I'll have that fixed soon."

Dustin:"That was lame, man."

Me: "My point exactly. Hmmm. Well, I have a bunch of hobbies. This is just one. I guess I only feel like I can freely express myself openly through fiction. So, that's what I'll do. Enough of this!"

Dustin: "That's the spirit!"

Me: "Yep, no one quits quite like me!"

Dustin: "Dude, that's deep."

Me: "Uh huh." (typing)

Dustin: "What are you doing now?"

Me: "I'm working on my story Parallel Realities Ninja Storm."

Dustin: "Oh! A story! Tell us a story!"

Me: "Okay already. Calm down. Well, it all starts in another dimension where the Power Rangers are evil and Dustin is their super-smart techno genius."

Dustin: "I like this story!"

Me: "And Tori has a twin brother named Tobi."

Tori: "A twin brother? Do I get to tease him?"

Me: "All the time."

Tori: "I like this story too!"

Me: "So, anyway, one day..."
