I am a single mother of two very energetic, completely mental and extraordinary kids: Emily and Ethan. I am proud to say that I have already passed down my love of books to them, particularly my love for Harry Potter. Not that they had much of a choice in the matter. Still... so proud!

How I started writing fanfiction: Summer of 2011... It was in a desperate moment of boredom after not having internet for a few days that I decided to take a stab at this whole writing thing. I needed to do something on the computer and since I missed reading HP fanfiction so much I decided: Why not make my own? And that is how Anxious was born. It is the first bit of creative writing I've everwritten and it truly feels like another one of my babies.

The response has been overwhelming, to say the least. And I have met some of the coolest, kindest, funniest and most awesome kick-ass authors and readers, who I happily call my friends, through this site. It is such a humbling and gratifying experience, and I appreciate it so much. To find those who are of the same mind as you, who understand the joys and woes of writing, who cheer you on when you need motivation, who correct you when you make an error, who knows what it's like to have so much love for these fictional characters where others view it as borderline insanity, and who always leave the best and most inspiring reviews that make me blush and giggle is amazing. Thank you!!

UPDATES!

12/20/12: Just to clarify, I have not abandoned my stories, I promise! It has been a hectic year and these past few months have been busy in my real life. So I made the decision to take a break from reading and writing fanfiction until I could get caught up on drawing commissions and other things going on. I am happy to say that has (mostly) happened and I am no longer on hiatus! However, with the holidays here I find myself busy again, but rest assured I am already making notes and thinking about the rest of the chapters for Look at Me as well as one shots I plan on writing very soon. I am also still running the romionesmut tumblr blog, which has become quite popular in the short time it's been up, which is super exciting! I have plans for that blog that I'm sure Romione readers will enjoy, so stay tuned for that! There is also a Romione Smut Fest going on on Tumblr that I am going to participate in; Visit rhrsmut.tumblr.com for more details. 2013 is going to a fantastic year filled with Romione fanfiction, if I have anything to do with it!

7/6/12: I finished Bed of Roses, my first completion of a chaptered story! That story was a first for me in more ways than one. So, since that story is now done my next project will be tackling Look at Me! I will be updating that story until it is complete before I move on to Anxious. So if you are following either story, please note that they WILL be finished! No abandoning going on over here! :D

I do have a major announcement! I have started a new Tumblr blog especially for MA-rated Ron and Hermione stories! This is where I will host some of my more smuttier Romione stuff, as well as other author's work exclusively (at least for a little while until they post here or somewhere else), such as TMBlue and KariAnn1222! Yes, I know, I'm super excited, too!

1/14/12: Let's see, my life is pretty stressed right now and with this virus going around, it hit my family like a ton of bricks. It was a miracle I got chapter nine out for Look at Me when I did. I am also in the process of getting ready to move halfway across the country in a month or two and I'm going a bit bonkers. So I'm a bit behind, but what else is new, right? But I will never abandon any story in progress, trust that! Updates won't be any slower than usual and I have a list of one-shots I'm dying to write.

I've gotten some questions about where each of my chaptered stories are going so I'll just say this quick:

Anxious will go on for a while, at this point we'll will continue to follow them around for a year, through the ups and downs of getting their life on track. The ending is a long way off. I can't even say how many more chapters there will be. I will say no more than 50, after which I might as well make it a soap opera, yeah?

Look at Me is a bit more structured since I'm following the plot and timeline of Deathly Hallows. So that story will end before the epilogue from the book, after the final battle.

12/26/11:This month has been, for lack of a better word, fucking nuts, okay? It wasn't even the holidays that did me in, either. I can't pinpoint it, but let's just say I'll be glad when this year is over. Anyway, I'm writing this blurb here in case anyone is wondering what the hell is going on with Anxious and Look at Me. Well, since Look at Me was recently updated, next will come Anxious. However, you won't see a new chapter for at least another week or so. I am working on it, but I don't want to rush it as this chapter is very... emotional. I hope you understand and that when I do post it, the quality will make up for the delay.

10/18/11: My first story, "Anxious", while it started out as experimental, has evolved into something bigger than I could have expected. Throughout the 16 chapters so far, I've written two one-shots and started another story, "Look at Me". I've gotten such great feedback and met some really cool and nice people since I starting writing. It has been an awesome experience. I will continue to work on my skills as a writer as I'm finding out there is so much more to learn. My love for reading has indeed spilled over into my writing and I don't know why I was so scared to try it before!
