Author has written 4 stories for Justice League, X-Men, and StarTrek: Other. Name: Leo N, or Leon Age: I was born in '81, per my username. Yes, I'm OLD! Occupation: Financial Management Favorite Color: Yellow (it's actually the first word I could read) Favorite Books: Favorite Games: Writing: I've been writing on some level or another since my parents got their first computer - a second-hand Machintosh - when I was 11 or 12. Plagued by insecurities I never did finish any of those early stories, giving up and moving on half way through. Most of my inspiration comes from TV shows, comic books and movies, but I do have a few original ideas that I'm working on. RPG: When I was 8 my older brother had over a bunch of friends to play table-top, dice and paper, role-playing games. My mom had already told me that I wasn't allowed to play Dungeons & Dragons, which at that time was at it's highest negative ratings. But my brother had gotten his hands on a new game: the West End Games version of Star Wars, and since it wasn't D&D I pestered my brother to play. From Grade-School until I graduated High School I played games like Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, Rifts, Paranoia, Robotech and Nightbane (almost all from the Palladium game system), but my favorite was Star Wars. Most of my earliest writings (the ones I don't have any more) were the adventures of my characters in those games. Inspiration: I like strong female support characters (like Wonder Woman and Emma Frost) but not in a romantic setting. Most of my main characters are insecure teens, like I was at that age, falling in love with girls their age who are just as insecure, they just hide it better. As I've gotten older so have my characters, but it's fun to go back and write the perspective of a child sometimes. Goals: I'd like to complete the Wonder Boy story arc and maybe do a rewrite. My Marvel Boy story is also waiting in the wings. What I'd really like is to have a comics publisher take a look and purchase one of my characters, or actually publish one of my original stories. As an intermediate goal, I'm trying to post a chapter a week. | |||||||
