Well hello there! I'm Kitsuhime, or Kit as I prefer. I like a lot of stuff...anime, manga, video games, books, comics...I'm not just a VA fan. ;P I also have a thing for Higurashi/Umineko, The Mortal Instruments, Harry Potter (Pothead!), The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Watchmen, Vampire Knight, Donkey Kong (Country), Super Smash Bros. (I have Brawl, want a match?), Kirby aaaand...that's about it.

Oh wait, have I forgotten my recent love of Doctor Who? Yes. I have fallen in love with the Tenth Doctor. TENINCH FOR. THE. WIN.

I write mostly on the side. I've started a few original stories, but never finished them. My Own Worst Enemy is the first story I've written more than a few pages for. I like to think I can write half-decent pieces of work.

(DO NOT READ THE FOLLOWING IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE VAMPIRE ACADEMY SERIES TO ITS END, UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT SPOILERS) You know, Last Sacrifice had an odd impact on me. Even with the end having as many unfinished stories as it did, it felt complete. I don't know why, but every time I think about LS's ending I feel weird. I don't know what the emotion is. Traces of happiness are in there, but as for the rest, I don't know. I feel empty because it's over, but whole because Rose got her happy ending. I think that's it. I don't know.

(THE FOLLOWING REQUIRES COMPLETION OF HIGURASHI AND VA TO NOT GET SPOILERS)

Something I randomly noticed was that the romance between Rose and Dimitri has a resemblance to Higurashi. Each time Dimitri and Rose have a romantic encounter, something spoils it and they don't have another one for a while. They're both trying to make their happy endings, but before they can something ruins it and they need to start all over again. After Dimitri turns back, it's as if they will never be together again. Because a piece is missing from the game board. Dimitri cannot forgive himself. When that piece is finally put on the board, like Hanyuu, they finally get their happy ending. Bad analogy, I guess. But it could possibly make a good crossover fanfic.
