This place has been my sanctuary.

A sanctuary from the harsh reality of life.

In my time of solitude, writing and reading became my world... Drowning me in their ever wonderful adventures, mysteries, delightful romances of people that are not exactly real but are very much to us, readers - mere fictional characters given life, purpose, struggle, enlightenment, beginning and an end.

We only get a one way ticket to a life, our choices are limited.

With these characters, we create several lifetimes that inspire, entertain and affect others and also ourselves. We enjoy the journey with them and cry at times. Even though some are not written up to professional standards, its the idea, the flow of the story that keeps us in it.

To those who read this, I don't know what prompt me to write something so... somber in my profile, but maybe it is the idea of giving you a gist of what's more to the gears working in my head. One could reach many implications this may bring, but for one I am tired or too worked up to even bother.

Too much time left thinking to oneself is probably not a good idea.

Let's just keep this thing as one of the few very gray-toned posts... I am not always a happy person.

UPDATE:

I know you guys are waiting for my new updates on "An Adventure" and "Our One Common Thing", but I am sad to say that I am getting eaten up alive in college, but I am enjoying it and I'm learning more about myself, the world and art. I have decided on rewriting the two, and I am already planning the skeleton structure of it - something I didn't even bother doing during the process of it's creation. I should say that I am considering on taking this to a higher level and I hope you guys will stick with me till the end. I plan to post the revised chapters before or on my birthday on August.
