Author has written 7 stories for Eureka, Sherlock, and Firefly.

Wow, all this blank space... I don't really know what to say...

Well, let's start with my fandoms.

Stargate SG-1 & Stargate Atlantis. The shows that got me into fanfiction. Favorite characters: Daniel Jackson (who I love with a passion). I didn't really have a favorite Atlantis character.

Star Trek: TOS, TNG, Enterprise, & NuTrek (2009 movie). Haven't seen DS9 or much of Voyager, or any of the movies besides Wrath of Khan & Nemesis...oh wait, I saw Generations too. Favorite character: TOS- Spock, though Bones is a really close second. TNG: Captain Picard (best captain ever!). Enterprise: Malcolm Reed. NuTrek: Bones, I guess. He was the character that stayed truest to his TOS counterpart.

Eureka. Favorite character: Hard to choose, but I like Fargo.

Sherlock. The most elegant show I've ever seen. It's just...amazing. & it only gets better in season 2! Favorite character: EVERYONE (except Irene...and Anderson)

Firefly. I love the 'verse, but the morally dubious nature of certain things makes me hold back a bit & not love this show as much as the others. But the costumes, acting, general "feel" & universe/setting are wonderful.

Phantom of the Opera. Book and movie. 'Nuff said. Do you really need to ask who my favorite character is?

Doctor Who. Recently got into it, due to my current obsession with British entertainment. Tenth Doctor is my fav (who can resist DT??).

Cabin Pressure. Brilliant little British radio show, just hilarious. Love it! It's almost impossible to choose a favorite, but Arthur is adorably clueless & i love how he's always cheerful. I think all of us could use an Arthur Shappey in our lives. :)

Almost anything Jane Austen is a favorite.

The Scarlet Pimpernel series. Wasn't going to list books, but I couldn't resist. If you haven't read these, READ THEM RIGHT NOW. If you love historical novels, these are fantastic.

Goodness, I can't list all the movies/books I like or this list won't fit on the profile!

About me:

I probably will stick to the TV shows for my fanfiction. There's much more character development in a TV show vs. a movie, therefore much more scope for fanfic.

I will never write slash.

I tend to like sci-fi shows, though I don't believe we will ever actually find intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. Also, I have a thing for secondary characters, I don't know why. Maybe I'm some kind of hipster... Main characters are too mainstream? :P

I play the piano & I want to learn violin. I have a deep interest in costumes & history. I also like photography (though I'm not very good at it).

I recently realized that I am a born whumper. Good gravy, I love whump fics. It seems weird, but I've always liked it, ever since watching Harrison Ford get whumped in Star Wars and Indiana Jones at the tender age of 7.

If anyone's new to the fandom scene, here's the definition of whumping: The term whumping (or whump) refers to a form of Hurt/Comfort that is heavy on the hurt and often focuses on gen stories. Whumping sometimes gets confused with character bashing but while character bashing is motivated by hatred of the character being bashed, whumping implies that the character being hurt is a favorite. (definition from fanlore.com)

Apparently the term was coined by Stargate Sg-1 fans! My peeps! It started as fandom & character-specific (Danny-Whumping), but has now crossed over into most fandoms.

So come out of the closet, Whumpers! You're not alone!

My deviantart page is http://rileysun20.deviantart.com/ All of my stories are posted on there as well. You can also find my fangirl ramblings there.

I'm halfway through basic EMT training, so for any of the fandoms listed above, I'm offering my help with medical/trauma proof-reading. I won't do actual beta-ing, but if you have a specific question or a situation that needs some medical terminology or fact-checking, I'll be happy to help. Just send me a PM with your question & I'll do my best to reply in a timely fashion.

I'm American, so if you need something..um...Americanized, I can help with that too. Because believe me, we can tell when you British are trying to write about an American show/movie, LOL. Please note, I'm only offering these services for the fandoms I'm into.

I completely fail at FFnet formatting. Seriously. If any kind soul out there knows how to help me, I will be eternally grateful for formatting tips. A big THANK YOU to all the people who put up with it & read my stories anyway.
