Author has written 14 stories for Escaflowne, Fruits Basket, and Inuyasha. First off, to explain the name; I love to read, write, watch anime, and draw, all of which involve ink (some in more literal ways than others). It's something different, and quite fitting to my personality. A little bit about me: My real name is Ashley, I'm 25, and I live in PA. Favorite Genre: Anything with a nice mix of the stuff I like. Especially partial to a blend of mythical, supernatural, drama, romance, comedy, and angst. Other things: I have a fascination with dark, complex characters. This is one of the things I love most about Fruits Basket. I don't think there is a single character from that that is exactly as they seem to be. Everyone has something they don't show the world. Though they might not be my favorite characters, the darkest ones do hold my attention. I also have a tendency to write A/U, mostly because I'm afraid of getting something wrong in the regular timeline. However, I'll read both A/U and non A/U, so long as the story has something to offer. My Work: I do put effort into it and like to hear back from people. But as long as there is one person reading what I post, I'll keep going. And I never begrudge a person their honest opinion of my work. That's what this site is for, right? March 24,2008: I'm still around, although not really active in writing at the moment. I'm currently going through fic by fic and fixing them to conform to the new formatting on this site. To help them look a little cleaner, I'm also removing most author's notes and things of that nature. It's too tedious to do all at once so I'm planning on doing a few stories at a time over the next week or so. I'm still working on "Forgotten Warrior" (Escaflowne), although it's coming along slowly at the moment.
