Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react... The life of a Ninja is never easy, especially during war. Comrades will die, family will be lost, and even the people you thought you knew best will surprise you, how will you live your 90%?
Takes place Pre-Naruto. I morphed ages to be what I want. OC-centric. Also involves: Iruka, Itatchi, Kakashi, Tenzo, Rin, Obito, Minato, Shikaku Nara, and others. No parings as of yet. Follows cannon as far as is known. Character death (obviously). Not a romance. A growing up and friendship fic.
