My name is Nadia and I am sixteen. My name has gone through its own evolution: Nad, Nads, Nadee, Nadeeya, Deeya, Dee. I prefer to be called Dee or Nadee. My mates back in Jordan call me Nad, my friends in school and my family call me Deeya and only a select few get to call me Dee. I come from a land where orangutans roam wild and free. (Not really, it just makes Brunei sound more interesting no?)
I attend an The Queen's High School for Girls. The lack of male presence is a bit of a boredom trigger. However, I always have a laugh with the bunch of apes that I hang out with. I love our mini picnics in the middle of the netball court and how we ditch class and hang out at debate headquarters. The one thing I wish I could just ever be in life is to be spontaneous. Plans bore me, I love surprises.
I love lip balm, coffee and ice cold teas. My favourite movies are Now and Then, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Saved. My favourite bands are McFly, The Beatles, Stereophonics, The All-American Rejects and The Strokes. I love reading anything as long as it's enjoyable.
Intense feelings inspire me to write. Passion and beauty inspire me to write. Satisfaction, joy and mirth inspire me to write. Everything I write, there will always be a little bit of me. That bit of me could be in the plot or the characters. I love writing fanfics for Harry Potter, Fruits Basket and Confessions of Georgia Nicolson. However, I haven't posted them up yet.
