Things You Should Know About Yaoi Fangirls Before You Hate On Them For No Reason I can't speak for others, but I can speak for myself. I just know there is a lot of hate out there for yaoi fangirls, and I think some people unfairly stereotype a good portion of them. 1: Yaoi fangirls turn all the guys gay. If you find a yuri pairing you like then congrats. I would dicuss it with you and have fun doing it. If you find a cute pairing out of a gay male and female or lesbian women and male then I would love to talk about it if you are not just being against gay people or gay romance. If you like two straight characters together? Well any wrath I would inflict or you I would have to inflict to myself since I do to. I call free anything in the way of pairings. These are fictional characters people. I don't care if you have no evidence. This is what fanfiction allows us to do; we can create our story within the author's story or try an AU. It helps us get better at our own writing so that we can begin our own creations with gay, or lesbian, or straight couples. Maybe even none at all. Whatever we want to write. I know some feel that we should stay absolutely true to an author's vision and for some sexuality is that, nevermind if others write it very very convincingly. That's fine. I am speaking for myself here. I don't think I would mind if I put out a novel and people wrote fanfiction about it and messed with the characters. I would feel proud that people would bother, because people felt enough to actually care. Besides, every single piece of fanfiction is an adaption or an expansion of the novel, t.v. show, film, etc. that the writer made. If every single thing in the piece of work went our way fanfiction wouldn't even exist. 2: Yaoi fangirls bash the love interest (usually female) of the guy they want paired with some other dude. Bashing. I have never bashed a female character because she is romatically involved with some guy. I only bash characters who annoy me and that is almost completely reserved for my family who in turn bash characters they don't like with me. We have no filter around each other for those things, but I have a filter around you. I think bashing someone's favorite character (yes, there is always a someone) is kind of mean, and I try very much to censor myself no matter what. 3:Yaoi Fangirls are so vocal and annoying about their preferences. You guys are the only people that know that I am a yaoi fangirl, and the only internet yaoi fangirl-ing that I've done is write a couple stories and like a couple stories down the page in my stories and favorites section. 4: Yaoi fangirls don't care about complex stories and only want gay male sex. For me, this is definitely not true for any pairing. I want passion and love. I want a plot that hooks me. I want individual characters I love on their own. I want to care. If all I wanted was gale male sex I'd drag up some porn. 10 Reasons Gay Marriage is wrong! 1. Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, birth control and air conditioning. If you support gay marriage and want to show it, paste this into your profile. Racism is wrong and can often times destroy people's self confidence. It's a horrible and cruel way to treat people. To prove that we are all alike, try this simple experiment: Hold your hand up to a light of some kind. You'll see a shadow cast nearby. Now, have someone of a different race hold their hand up too. You'll see, essentially, the same image. Five fingers and a palm. Skin color doesn't matter when you get right down to it. If you are against racism, copy this message and my symbol for equality to your profile. I am the girl that doesn't go to school dances, or games, and when I do go, I sit in a corner and read a book. I am the girl that people look through when I say something. I am the girl that spends most of her free time reading, writing, or doing other activities that most teenagers wouldn't call normal. I am the girl that people call weird and a freak either behind my back or to my face. I am the girl that doesn't spend all her time on MySpace. I am the girl that hasn't been asked out in a year. I am the girl that has stopped to smell the flowers and jump and splash in the rain. BUT I am also the girl who knows and is proud to be who she is, doesn’t care if people call her weird (it's a compliment), who loves reading and writing and doing the things that no one seems to have the time to do any more, who loves and is obsessed with Twilight, who can express herself better with words than actions, who doesn't need a guy to complete her, and knows the importance of the little things. Copy and paste this onto your account, and add your name to the list, if you are anything like me, so the girls who are different and unique can know in their weakest time that they are unique but not alone.: Iheartjake1220, FaerieRose13, Dancer4Life15,Marigold Winters, SparklingTopazEyes, chocoholic4eva, xXKatieCullenX, Bby-Leyla-Vamp, Shiny-silver-volvo-stalker, MegTheVampire, Crimson Love20, Scarlet Dawn, Queenoflove, Bealive-Your-Imagination, Lilchany, suckishLEMONADE, BeautifullyLovely | |||||
