Film characters: Ada (The Piano), Agnes (Show me Love), Lola (Run Lola Run), Morvern (Morvern Callar), Jack Twist (Brokeback Mountain), Ria (Monsoon Wedding), Ed (Ed Wood), Leon (The Professional)

Bands: Massive Attack (I, like many other females, would swoon for Robert Del Naja), The Verve, Pink Floyd, Portishead, u2, Mum, Decoder Ring...any experimental, atmospheric band that's worth listening to.

Music Masterminds: Björk, Kate Bush, Tori Amos (massive fan of these three wonderfully creative women), Moby, Aphex Twin.

Instruments:Piano, harp, cello, gamelan, sitar, bass guitar (I learnt to play the drums for five years, but they're not my favourite)

Hobbies: Drawing faces, dancing like a crazy thing, making short films (haven't made one for ages though), singing along to my fave songs, meeting friends in the city, indulging in literature + the arts...oh and playing decent computer games

Fanfiction:

I only come on here to see how my latest fanfic is doing really...heh, no, I do like to see if there's anything exciting to read. I sometimes check the film section, though I mainly hang around the Tekken area.

My favourite couples are the conventional ones - Jun/Kazuya, Xiaoyu/Jin...though there are only a few stories that actually do the characters justice. I feel that each of those characters, including Xiaoyu, has a degree of ambiguity to them...which is just brilliant for writing fiction.

Jun: She's just so mysterious and has so much integrity...plus she's the only female character whohad a relationship with another fighter. Yay! Secret romance!

Kazuya: Angry, cunning, dark, isolated...yet open to love. Yes, he's a bastard, but he's an interesting one.

Xiaoyu: Youthful, friendly, loyal, childlike yet responsible and her moves are soooo pretty! She's practically dancing.

Jin: Ok, the way he has been designed is just gorgeous personified. He's mysterious, private, wounded, secretive, strong, loyal, mature, intelligent and on a one-man mission (swoon!)

Julia: I didn't like her at first, but she's grown on me. I like her moves and the fact that she decorates her hair with feathers! Awesome. Plus, she's out to save those trees...those computer-animated trees...

Hwoarang: I go back and forth with him...he was just repulsive in Tekken 4 (what the fuck is with his accent?) but I loved him in Tekken 5. His voice, facial expressions...so cool. Oh and his ending is my favourite. The look on his face when he's about to fight Devil Jin is brilliant.

Yes...go ahead and call me conventional! But these are my top characters (for now). Ok, I think I've done enough damage for today. Oh, one last thing I'd like to add is that I like to use song titles for fic names and chapters. Bon Voyage!
