Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter. Álainn said (aw-lin) = Beautiful (In Irish - according to Google Translate) --Unfortunately at this time I am unable to write do to my busy college schedule, and therefore all of my stories are on hiatus. I apologize profusely to anyone who might be waiting on my stories. Hopefully this summer I will be able to make it up to you all. Again I am so, so sorry. - AlainnRain I'm simply here because I love to read and write, though I have never before let anyone read my stories. I hope to learn how to better my writing, so if you read a story of mine and have any suggestions or constructive criticism, it would be greatly appreciated. =) My inspirations for different stories come at odd times. So I just work on what ever story I suddenly get an idea for. I'm not exactly sure how long it will take me to finish, so I guess I'll just have to see where it all goes. A few of the plots for my stories are fighting with me, and unfortunately seem to be winning... (for now at least...) I have several ideas for stories that I am currently working through, and hope to accomplish soon (there are still many lose ends in them that I must take care of). Though I suppose it also pertains to my lack of writing time. *Grins Sheepishly* I do tend to be quite bad at that. Which is why I wish to fully write the story, and then update it regularly. Otherwise I'm afraid you would end up waiting a dreadfully long time between posts. Also my puncuation skills are not exactly up to par, but I will do my best to make it convay what I wish it too. In any 'Merlin' stories I write that contain "spells". I used Google Translate, and I know it isn't very accurate, but I've no other source. Most spells are from English to Irish. (Mostly because Colin Morgan is Irish... But, also because it sort of sounds like a spell and I don't know how to translate things to the old english used in the show...) Character looks: Aliashay Stone/Draco Malfoy - http://www.polyvore.com/dm-as_one_shot/set?id=40423666 Draco and Hydra Malfoy(Twins) - http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=45553260 Random Facts About Me I am still in school and it takes up a good part of my time so please bear with me. I fall in love with fictional characters all the time and that is often what sparks the story ideas. My most resent ones would be Merlin, Draco Malfoy, and Edmund Pevensie so these are the ones that I am currently inspired by. I'm a quite the helpless romantic which means a lot of my stories will have sappy bits in them. ;) I tend to say things in a different manner than what most people do and sometimes people read it differently than how it was meant. Thus it sometimes leads to someone being offended. So, I apologize ahead of time for anything I might say that could possibly offend you it most likely was not meant to. Favorite Quotes "If there's a book you really want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it." - Toni Morrison "And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt." - Sylvia Plath "If you can read your writing to yourself without wincing, you have probably gotten it right." - George V. Higgins "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." - Eleanor Roosevelt "Do what you feel in your heart to be right- for you'll be criticized anyway. You'll be damned if you do, and damned if you don't." - Eleanor Roosevelt Follow me on Twitter if you wish, I'm honestly not all that interesting. *Lopsided Grin* This is my personal http://twitter.com/_GuitarBabe_ or there is my pen name as a (Hopefully) future fictional writer. https://twitter.com/AllisonJCove | |||||
