My discovery of fan fiction opened doors into a world of hedonistic pleasure that can make me feel like I'm on top of the world, send me into depressions and, occasionally, send my printer into overdrive when I just HAVE to get my hands on a paper copy to re-read. There is nothing quite like the thrill of discovering a new mine of untapped stories in my favourite genre or opening my inbox to reviews for something I've written.

The day that I found myself joining a 'Fanfiction is my CRACK!' group, I knew I had to stop hiding like a guilty junkie & admit that I'm ADDICTED!! I love how it slices out the opinions of agents & publishers, allowing audiences to decide for themselves who they think cuts the mustard. It is wonderful to have a central hub like ff.net in which to share & read alike. There is a vast amount of talent here. It is truly a democratic genre & I'm proud to be part of it.

NOTE:

I do plan to complete my WIPs, particularly high on the list are my 'Angel' & 'King Arthur' fics but right now I just can't stop playing with those Winchesters!
