Dear Readers- 2/27

So, I just got out of the hospital. As it turns out, the injury I mentioned in my last update was not one of those "grin and bear it" moments. Aside from being busy as hell, I've been dealing with that and one hell of a moody session of writer's block. I've got plenty of ideas and material written down, it's just getting everything to gel that's giving me problems. Wish me luck on getting everything to jive; not updating has really been killing me.

There's now a poll on my profile if you want a say in what I post next. Note that I am working on these stories now, so I'll probably have a better schedule for them when I get to posting. I am hoping to finish at least one of my in progress stories before posting a new one, just 'cause I think it will cut down on the time it takes to churn out new chapters.

Hearts At War - Second chapter is kicking me in the ass. It's coming, it's just being difficult.

In no particular order, with brief summaries.

"Musketeer" - Set in the late 1600's, Princess Bonnie is the third daughter of the late King, base born and hidden away from the current monarch looking to kill her. When the Captain of the Musketeers arrives and explains France's current state- verging on civil war- it's up to Bonnie to win the crown from her sisters in the midst of political turmoil, with the help of three very dedicated and slightly eccentric bodyguards. Oh, plus Ron.

"Stranger Like Me" - In a world where Centaurs are second class citizens, obedient to their human masters, Kim is member to the Centaur Royal Guard, with Sir Ronald as her rider. She'd never questioned the fairness of her lot in life until a regular patrol runs her head long into a snarky Free Centaur of the Woods and opens the door to a world of questions.

"Best Laid Plans" - "Kim and Shego are destined to be together. Their love and mad-science created children will be the beginning of a line of heroes-without-limits who will guard and protect the human race into a new golden age." That is, until a certain angel of Fate made a clerical mistake and botched the whole thing. What'll it take for Shego to get the girl and save the world?

"Deadliest Reflection" - When the world of crime fighting took a deadly turn, those closest to Kim Possible devised a way to keep her safe. Now, their illusion is shattered and it's up to the real Kim Possible to save the world from those trained to be exactly like her. But when mirrors fail to hold the truth, who can you trust?

"Alpha Sector" - "Master Chief Petty Officer Kim Possible awakens from cryostasis to find the universe she knew has changed dramatically. As a relic from a time no one remembers, she tries to find a home among the crew of the Commodore, the scrap ship that rescued her." First in what looks to be a 26 episode series.

"Of Lords and Ladies" - A retelling of Cinderella, with Shego as the underappreciated sister in a male dominated household, forced to attend the Ball. Her mood changes, however, when she catches sight of the free spirited and strong willed heir, Lord Kimberly and falls in love. Part of the Story Time Series.

"The Real World" - After four seasons, the Kim Possible TV show is over. Unfortunately for Kim, she's just learned that her life was actually a highly rated television program and that everyone around her is actually a paid actor. It's her eighteenth birthday and she's being thrust into the real world to fend for herself after finding all this out. So the drama. Inspired by Disney's Bolt.

All but the last two are based on challenges posted on the Haven.

However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V. -V, V for Vendetta

16 ways to maintain a healthy level of insanity:

1. At lunch time, sit in your parked car with sunglasses on and point a hairdryer at passing cars, see if they slow down.
2. Page yourself over the intercom. Don't disguise your voice.
3. Every time someone asks you to do something, ask if they want fries with that.
4. Put a garbage can on your desk and label it "IN"
5. Put decaf in the coffee maker for three weeks. Once everyone is over their Caffeine addictions, switch to espresso.
6. Finish all your sentences with "In Accordance to the Prophecy".
7. Dont use any punctuation
8. As often as possible, skip rather than walk.
9. Specify that your drive thru order is "To Go."
10. Sing Along at the Opera.
11. Go to a poetry recital and ask why the poems don't rhyme.
12. Put mosquito netting around your work area and play tropical sounds all day.
13. When the money comes out of the ATM, scream "I WON! I WON!"
14. When leaving the zoo, start running towards the parking lot, yelling "Run for your lives, they're loose!!"
15. Tell your children over diner, "Due to the economy, we are going to have to let one of you go."
16. Send this to your friends to make them smile. It's called therapy.
