I have litterally fallen in love with the Hetalia fandom X'D I can't get enough of it, so you should expect me to be writing quite a few hetalia fanfictions in the next while XD I really want to write some Harry Potter and Doctor who fanfics too, but I can never seem to think of any ideas... :I I tend to read what I write (or plan on writing...) - which is Hetalia, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Ouran High School Host Club, Sherlock, Phoenix Wight, pokemon, Professor Layton, Merlin, Glee... and loads of others X'D but yes :) I have quite a lot of spare time, which I try to fill up with doing something productive - which in my case is writing or reading X'D
My excuse for waits between chapters at the minute? I'm replaying the Ace Attorney series, and I discovered Tumblr. WHAT HAVE I DONE?? I can't get enough of AA, and with the temptation of Tumblr it's a wonder I'm even writing this bio right now!
So I wasn't too sure what to put here, so I'm just going to find one of those question things and put it underneath here, so if you wanna know anything, hopefully it'll be there X'D

I've just entered year ten, and already I'm getting quite a bit of homework XD my exams start around Christmas time, and will pretty much continue until July 2014 (then there's collage etc... university...) so, I can't promise I will update as often as I used to - then again, I might find I have quite a bit of spare time... I don't really know XD but I promise to update as much as I can! Personality: A hard one. X'D I can be deadly serious and a bit of a drama queen at times, and sometimes really quiet and conceited, and other times completely hyperactive and ott XD though most of the time I'm rather goofy, sarcastic, 'quirky' and unnecessarily cynical XD people often mistake my 'passionate way of talking about things' for annoyance and/or aggression, and I'm often told to calm down X'D and I'm like 'but there's nothing to calm down about! D8 I wasn't annoyed!' XD and I talk with my hands, which apparently means I'm expressive X'D I hope so X'D and I'm often told I sound very posh ._. I hope I don't XD I like being myself, but I don't like drawing attention to myself too much, unless it's a place (like a convention) where I know it's acceptable to do so XD

Fanfiction Meme

1.) How did you first get into writing fanfic, and what was the first fandom you wrote for? What do you think it was about that fandom that pulled you in?

I think the first fandom I ever wrote for must've been Shugo Chara, but I was so innocent at that point I didn't even know what fanfiction was XD my friend introdued me to fanfiction :D The first fanfiction I wrote knowing it was fanfiction must've been for Hetalia :D The thing that pulled me in about Hetalia? Must've been the yaoi XD

2.) Name the fandoms you’ve written in, and how much you’ve written in that fandom, and if you still write in it.

The stuff that I've posted on here I've written for Hetalia, the Avengers and Harry Potter, but the stuff I haven't posted I think there's Shugo Chara, Portal 2, My Chemical Romance (they were a requested X'D) and some other ones. I've mainly written for hetalia, and I really want to get into writing in Doctor Who, more Harry Potter, and perhaps a bit of Glee :D Merlin looks fun too

3.) For each of the fandoms from day two, what were your favorite characters to write?

From Hetalia it has to be Arthur and Alfred X'D Antonio is good fun too, and, although he is an OC, Owain (My version of Wales X3) From Harry Potter, I'd say Sirius and Remus from their teenage years, and James and Lily are OH SO MUCH FUN to play around with XD from the Avengers, I just love abusing Loki, though I haven;t had much chance to yet XD Thor and Tony are fun too and I can't remember anything about the others XD

4.) Do you have a “muse” character, that speaks to you more than others, or that tries to push their way in, even when the fic isn’t about them? Who are they, and why did that character become your muse?

It hasn't happened with any of my recent fictions, sadly XD but I remember when I was younger and I was writing an original story for no apparent reason, my characters would always speak to me as crazy as that sounds XDDD they still do! :'D I guess that's the difference between your own characters and character's you're only borrowing XD

5.) If you have ever had a character try to push their way into a fic, whether your “muse” or not, what did you do about it?

6.) When you write, do you prefer writing male or female characters?

I like writing as guys, but guys that reflect their feelings a lot XD so like girly-guys...? I don't like writing in the mind of a girl, for some reason they always seen so shallow... but I like writing about girls, if that makes sense? So a guy seeing a girl through his eyes, if that makes sense.

7.) Have you ever had a fic change your opinion of a character?

Yes! :D I remember reading one fanfiction that made me despise Russia X'D I never really liked him, but this made me HATE him XD and I was never too fond of China before I read 'The Invitational Year' but now I adore him X'D Same with Spain :'D Though I remember liking him because of a piece of fanart I found of Deviantart of him cosplaying as the Tenth Doctor from Doctor Who, and, because I adore David Tennant, I started to adore Spain, and I'm SO glad I found that fanart - SPAIN IS ADORABLE!!

8.) Do you write OCs? And if so, what do you do to make certain they’re not Mary Sues, and if not, explain your thoughts on OCs.

I do write OC characters :3 I know some people find them annoying, but I just can't not put them in! I feel like I need to inject my own sort of angle... I don't even know why XD And to make them not Mary Sues... hmmm... well, with some characters I like to make them seem perfect, but once the main canon character gets to know them, a more imperfect side is revealed, because I think that way is more realistic :)

9.) Pairings – For each of the fandoms from day two, what are your three favorite pairings to write?

Hetalia it has to be USUK :'D AND SPAMANO. SpUK also is cute :'3 and GerIta, Germancest, GiriPan, and a lot more X'D I also shamelessly say that I am a fan of Scotland/Wales, despite the fact the reasons I like them are because of my own fanfiction (vain much? X'D) and despite the fact they are brothers X'D
Harry Potter it'd have to be Remus/Sirius, despite the fact I've never written that X'D I love James/Sirius too :'D and Severus/James... And Severus/Remus (seeing a reoccurring theme here...? X'D) AND OF COURSE DRAPPLE. X'D
Doctor Who it'd have to be 10th doctor/Master :'D SO PERFECT. And, although Rory is his father in law (CREEPY.) 11th Doctor/Rory is amazingly cute :'D

10.) Pairings – Have you ever gone outside your comfort zone and written a pairing you liked, but found you couldn’t write, or a pairing you didn’t like, and found you could?

I'm just about to do it XD for 'Things Change. Get over it.' I'm going to add in some RoChu - it's not that I hate it, it just doesn't seem to work for me... " and I was never too fond of PruCan - mainly because I dislike Canada XD but I hope I can write that pretty well (eventhoughI'mbreakingthemup.)

11.) Genre – do you prefer certain genres of fic when you’re writing? What kind do you tend to write most?

I am in LOVELOVELOVE with steampunk, though I think it can be utterly ruined by a lot of people, and it's not because they're bad writers, it's just they don't sort of... do it right X'D I think I'd be one of those people that would ruin it X'D but in the future I plan on doing a successful steampunk, though only when I feel I could cope XD I think stempunk is such a big genre with so many opportunities people just get a little intimidated by it, and end up writing the same as everyone else X'D it's kind of like the internet... But with everything I write there HAS to be romance X'D A world without romance is like Harry without a wand :'(
I'm big on Fantasy too and the letters 'AU' send happy shivers down my spine :3 I adore AUs! They can be so original and unique :D
What else do I like...? I like the sort of high school slice of life stuff, because I'm going through that stage in my life right now, so I can take inspiration from the stuff around me, and hopefully make it a little more realistic :D

12.) Have you ever attempted an “adaptation” fic of a favorite book or movie but set in a different fandom?

13.) Do you prefer canon or fanon when you write? Has writing fanfic for a fandom changed the way you see some or even all of the original source material?

I like canon, I must admit, but I think fanon is brilliant in so many different ways... I don't know how to phrase it, really X'D. I kind of see the canon media separate than it's fandom, like they're almost separate things. Ahh I don't know how to phrase it X'D

14.) Ratings – how high are you comfortable with going? Have you ever written higher? If you’re comfortable with NC-17, have you ever been shocked by finding that the story you’re writing is G-rated instead?

I like reading smut :3 but I am terribly worried of my mum stumbling across smut if I wrote it on my computer X'D plus, due to my age and lack of experience, I think I'd kind of muck it up X'D so I'm not a smut-a-phobic, but I'll wait a little while before writing it, I think XD

15.) Warnings – What do you feel it most important to warn for, and what’s the strangest thing you’ve warned for in a fic?

Hmm... well I'm not a big fan of warnings... I think you should warn about the age rating of the content, definitely, but unless it has something creepy like necrophilia in it, I don't think you should warn anyone, because it's a mega spoiler :/ I mean, J.K. Rowling didn't warn about character death, did she?

16.) Summaries – Do you like them or hate them? How do you come up with them, if you use them?

Oh god. Jesus Christ that word kills me. I think summaries are one of the evillest things in creation D8 I really think they're a good idea, but they're so very hard to do. And then there's the problem of the word limit, and sometimes you get the completely wrong idea about a fanfic if the summary is accidentally misleading :'( so they're a good idea, and amazing when used correctly, but are incredibly hard to think up of :I

17.) Titles – Are they the bane of your existence, or the easiest part of the fic? Also, if you do chaptered fic, do you give each chapter a title, or not?

Ah. Titles. Usually when I'm writing something in school that we have to title, I write it, then pick out something noticeable about the text, and make that the title at the end. But with fanfiction, you can't do that. I think it's impossible to think up titles (or for me it is DX) But I don't mind thinking up chapter titles! That's quite fun! I like trying to give chapter titles a bit of an open end, so it gets the reader thinking, like 'did she mean that, or did she mean this?' and puns are good. I like puns.

18.) Where do you get the most inspiration for your fics (aka “bunnies”) from?

Hmm... I'm not sure where I get my inspiration from - usually from daily life (and often holidays, too) and now and then when re-watching/reading a series, and noticing something and thinking 'oh! I could use that for so-and-so' or whatever XD but most of my ideas come to me when I'm just about to fall asleep (which is frustrating because I can't remember them XD) just waking up (I woke up the other day and realised I was muttering plans for future chapters of 'the World Inside a Castle' aloud XD) Or in the shower :D And as of recent, I've been walking around town and listening to little snippets of people's conversations as they walk past XD creepy, I know, but it does give me some really good ideas now and then XD

19.) When you have bunnies, do you sit down and start writing right away, or do you write down the idea for further use?

(That sounds so funny X'D) No, because I usually get 'bunnies' whenever I can't write them, so I either try my best to remember them (a moment of silence for the many bunnies I have forgotten...) or quickly type them down on my ipod XD

20.) Do you ever get bunnied from other people’s stories or art in the same fandom?

Sadly I do ._. but I feel terrible about it and like the idea's not mine XD

21.) Sequels – Have you ever written a sequel to a fic you wrote, and if so, why, and if not, how do you feel about sequels?

I have! I am writing one now :D If you're a reader of 'The World Inside a Castle' and don't know I'm writing a sequel then SCROLL DOWN XD I really do love sequels, and often I find them better than the originals, because you're already familiar with the characters, and it's exciting when you see your favourite character re-appear, and see how they've got on in life since the last book XD and I really love like 'and later on in their lives' and pre-equals. Oh my god pre-equals. I LOVE them! I think it's super interesting to find out about a character's past

22.) Have you ever participated in a fest or a Big Bang? If so, write about your favorite experience in relation to one. If not, are there any you’ve thought about doing? And if not, why not?

I didn't just Google those to find out what they were X'D
Nope, I haven't, and that's 'cause I didn't know they existed XD

24.) Betaing – How many betas do you like to use to make sure there aren’t any major flaws in your fic? Do you have a Beta horror story or dream story?

I think me betaing is a recipe for disaster X'D my spelling and grammar sucks - the only reason it's almost passable is because of the glorious invention called spellchecker XD yeah. And I've never really thought about using betas... It'd probably be a good idea though XD

25.) Music – Do you listen to music while you write? Do you make playlists to get into a certain “mood” to write your fic? Do you need noise in general? Or do you need it completely quiet?

Usually I listen to music when I write, but it doesn't really affect me X'D I kind of forget it's playing, if you know what I mean XD it just blends into background noise, and often I only realise when my favourite song has been on at the very end of it X'D but I think it helps me concentrate a little better :D But I really don't get it when everyone's like 'oh! My music inspires my fics/art' XD I'm just like how?? I try to take inspiration from my music, but it really doesn't help XDIt's probably because I listen to the instruments more than the lyrics XD

26 – What is the oddest (or funniest) thing you’ve had to research for a fic?

I think one of the oddest things I've had to research may have been methods of killing people used in Ancient China XD I hope some day in the future I'll have to research something insane XD And I've been really worried now and then because I've been searching stuff like 'romantic date ideas' XDD I can just see my mum finding that in the history and being like '... what?' especially due to the fact I'm single XD

27.) Where is your favorite place to write, and do you write by hand or on the computer?

My favourite place it write is from where I am sitting right now :D my computer desk! though I do write at night now and then in my bed, and that's always quite relaxing :D and I write on the computer and by hand :) though usually the computer XD

28 – Have you ever collaborated with anyone else, whether writing together, or having an artist work on a piece about your fic?

Nope but it does sound like fun XD

29.) What is your current project or projects?

'Things change. Get over it' which I am very proud of and 'How to Rule the Seven Seas' which I am also pretty fond of!
