Author has written 5 stories for Harry Potter, and Charles Dickens. Callas_and_Ivy here, wow has it be a long and wonderful ride in this fan fic world. Both writing and reading has given me so much pleasure and a much needed respit. Time ever marches on, I've added another child to our little family and she's growing, active and creative. A fantastic compliment to her big brother's computer savvy and shy nature. Doing manuscript reproduction (calligraphy and illumination) for the Society for Creative Anachronism has become my main retreat from reality and though I still track a select few stories here, they just won't let me go, and I eagerly await the release of JKR's final installation... "what will come will come, and I'll meet it when it does". It is with a heavy heart that I admit that my creative writing has sunk low on my priority list. This includes fan fiction. Even my original fiction, a work in progress for over a decade of re-writes and revamping...what was my only creative outlet and at times my only friend will not be finished before the due date I gave myself. Probably not until all my children are in school, or later. Any writing I do right now seems to only make it worse. Though it is not my intention (and in fact I've railed long against abandoning stories before they are complete) I do not mean to excuse myself and can only beg forgiveness as I set my creations into hybernation until I can provide an environment suitable to revive them. Kit, I'm sorry. Callas and Ivy | |||||||||
