Author has written 30 stories for Phantom of the Opera, Misc. Plays/Musicals, Cats, Final Fantasy VII, Yu-Gi-Oh, Relic Hunter, Labyrinth, Cowboy Bebop, Inuyasha, NCIS, Dark Angel, Sweeney Todd, Thor, and Lord of the Rings. I am a deeply insane 23 year-old Canadian girl with a Phantom fixation. I love literature, art (see avatar ;)), music, film, and theatre. Ships/Fandom Info PHANTOM: There is only Erik/Christine. It's not optional. My stories will always be based primarily on Susan Kay. FINAL FANTASY SEVEN: Cloud is my favourite character. I only accept the original game as canon (haven't bothered with most of the sequel/prequel stuff) and I only ship Cloud/Aeris. YuGiOh!: In my fanfic the Ancient Egyptian part will be as accurate as possible. I have always had a passion for Ancient Egypt and my pet peeve is the TOTAL inaccuracy in YGO fanfic. Yami/Yuugi is my OTP (other pairings: meh, I don't really have any other serious bias). PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: Fic is not forthcoming... but if I ever wrote it, it would be Jack/Elizabeth. Elizabeth- I firmly believe- would end up bored to tears with Will. Besides, Jack and Elizabeth are both infinitely more interesting and engaging as characters and probably deserve each other. Take that as you will :) YMMV et all. (Three years later, now that the sequel has come out: my view hasn't changed, but I'd like to say now- before the third one- that I consider ONLY what we know from CotBP to be absolute canon. Everything else is bonus and fanservice. Meaning, I don't subscribe to the added back story for Jack. Or the changes we see in the characters for the sequels. Fic would be set after CotBP and ignore the events of the sequels.) LABYRINTH: Jareth/Sarah. And it's important to me that I don't sugar coat their flaws and their less admirable character traits. Jareth, especially, I won't turn into prince charming. DARK ANGEL: After extensive and exhausting research, I can come down firmly on one side of the oft-debated crucial issue of this fandom: Logan's infamous Eyes Only are green, not blue. If that doesn't give away where my loyalties lie, I'm a season one only fan. S2 is a completely different show, one which was much less interesting and original (overall quality dropped significantly, but it's more that it isn't the same show at all that really bugs me), and wherein people I cared about were both sidelined and out of character. Accordingly, I am all about the Max/Logan and Max's quest for self-understanding, as was S1. Won't get into S2, if I do, it'll just be Borrowed Time angst or Max telling off that Reefer guy. He bugged. I might eventually go for a semi-cracky NCIS/Dark Angel crossover. It makes more sense for Tony to become Logan (in fact, apart from Logan being younger it works perfectly), but I find it more entertaining to imagine the team's reaction to discovering that Logan/Eyes Only became Tony. Hence, semi-crack, because that can't make sense in any sane world. This does create problems about where Max fits in. That being the main reason I haven't written it yet lol NCIS: I absolutely do not ship Tony/Ziva at all. Never will. That doesn't mean I don't like Ziva (I do), it just means I can't see them as a couple. I am still interested in Kate and I'll probably dwell on her loss more than the show did or set stories before she died. The show itself has been a bit hit and miss with me since S4, and I can't accept things ever going back to normal after the S6 finale, so I'm not keeping up with new episodes. Most of my fic will be set in early S4 or before (but no Jeanne) and nothing will ever be S7 or later. Tony is my favourite character and I'm most interested in his damage and his obfuscating behaviour, so that will probably always be a factor. I also really wanted more exploration of him as team leader and how the others reacted to that, so expect it to come up a lot. I ship Tony/Abby and Tony/Kate (but not at the same time). Also, a tiny bit of innocent, fluffy Abby/Ducky. I don't ship McGee/Abby (glad they ended up as friends) and Gibbs/anyone-on-the-team is squicky to me, so there will be none of that. ;P I might eventually do a Man From U.N.C.L.E./NCIS crossover, just for fun. (Speaking of U.N.C.L.E., no Napoleon/Illya slash for me, thanks. I want Illya/Miki fic so bad, though, ugggh.) RELIC HUNTER: I am all about the Nigel/Sydney. I also like to see Nigel get a bit of his own back and maybe be the one to come to the rescue once in a while. N.B. My old stories (the Phantom and Cats stuff) were written when I was about thirteen. The writing is really terrible in retrospect, but I leave them up because... well, why not? Just a word of warning. And a hope that most people will notice my new stuff is considerably better. :P | |||||||
