Author has written 43 stories for X-Men, X-Men: The Movie, and Big Bang Theory. I some times think, what kind of a life do I have just sitting at my computer or laptop writing stories? And I don't just have stories here, I also have stories that aren't based on the X-Men at this site under the pen name dreamingnwatercolors - one Hidalgo story, two Lord of the Rings stories and one Firefly Mal & Zoe friendship romance after Wash's death. Not only that but there are some RoLo stories that I don't have posted here that can be found at The RoLo Realm where I usually put updates first. Some steamier stuff is there though I don't usually write that type of stuff. If you're a RoLo fan that's the place to be. Well, I don't just write stories I do have a life. I run (well, I will again after my freaking broken foot heals), hang out with friends and family, go to movies, do things like anyone else only writing makes me happy. I mostly write at work though. If I didn't write at work I really wouldn't have a life. Reading and writing, art, history and movies that's what I enjoy most though once upon a time comics would've been on that list. I did order The Warriors comic, excited about that because I LOVE The Warriors movie, can watch that over and over. (I'm an action comedy junkie.) I stopped reading Marvel, just angry with what they did to Storm. Am thinking about seeing what's up with Astonishing now that she's in it and her hubby, who I used to like so much before the quickie wedding, is out of commission. I'm sorry that I'm happy that he's gone. I miss the Vision and Hawkeye. I miss good writing in comics, the old artists, Kirby, Romita (I'm not a fan of Jr. at all), Kane, Bryne, Austin. I try to keep up with the comics through comic review sites which I'm so grateful for. I tend to order what few comics and graphic novels I get online now where I pay less even with shipping. I just think four dollars for a comic is ridiculous for what they're putting out. Maybe if it was Elfquest I'd give in and Miranda Mercury, she reminds me of Dart of Atari Force and they both intrigue me. Or if they put Ororo and Logan together. It almost sounds like I'm speaking a foreign language. It's fun to have friends that know the comics like me or better. Comics used to be so good. Maybe that's why I write fan fiction. I can fix what I don't like. The first fan fiction story I ever wrote was Will You Have Me and it was long before I knew about ff.net and it may sound crazy but I would sometimes take that hand written story out and reread it, ignoring the parts where I scribbled "write action scene later", and just got so much satisfaction from it. I plan on retweaking that one day and putting it up at the Realm. I never thought I'd end up with over 50 fan fiction stories, some that may never see the light of day. It's mostly fun, till I get burned out. I got burned out when writing African Skies and Canadian Whiskey unfortunately because of laptop viruses, laziness and severe writer's block. The most important reason I couldn't finish it was that an author I really admire had a story plot that I was planning to use and I don't like to do anything similar to what someone else is already doing. That meant I had to come up with a different plot that still goes with everything else I wrote. I just haven't thought of anything. I thought maybe seeing the Sandra Bullock movie, The Proposal, might help inspire me. Maybe I'll go see it this weekend or during the week. I hate not finishing a story. I started reading through it again in January '09, making corrections as I went though I haven't reposted those corrected chapters yet, think I got to chapter five and just stopped there. I do apologize to anyone wanting for an update on that because I don't know when it will happen although I believe it will. It occurred to me that I have several stories that make up a RoLo series, along with one Jott, based on the Chris Claremont's Early Years when the second batch of X-Men first got together so I thought I’d give the chronological order in which they’re meant to be read, however only the Soul Mates one shots need to be read in a particular order, more or less.
