Dislikes: American animation; an awful lot of meats(I don't know why! I swear!); potatoes(ok, I'm Irish-what is wrong with this picture??); the idiots of my school who make baboons look like Einsteins; people who have lots of kids to make sure they get a male 'heir'; geese.


Facts that make you wonder why people think I'm smart:
~termites and pine needles contribute to pollution.
~if you wiped out every germ in the human body, you would die a VERY horrible, gruesome death.
~of the hundreds, if not thousands, of kinds of bats in the world, 4 species are "vampires"- they get their blood from cutting something like a cow and drinking what runs out; no sucking whatsoever involved.
~vampire LEGENDS, on the other hand, probably originate from medival people with hemophillia who got the necessary blood by drinking other peoples' blood. Gross, I know.
~a single sunburn sends your odds of getting skin cancer through the roof.
~while it costs roughly a nickel to produce a single pack, a pack of cigarettes sells for $2.50 or so. See why tobacco companies can pay off Congress decade after decade?
~yes, people used to think cigarettes were GOOD for you.
~cramps actually speed up menstruation. (In the words of one of my classmates: "That's nice. To hell with 'em anyways.")
~while caffiene is a stimulant, beer is a depressant.
~the basic, commonly-accepted USDA food pyramid is actually sort of WRONG. At least the serving suggestions and food groupings, anyways.
~No, that doesn't mean you should eat more junk food. It's actually more along the lines of more fruits & veggies, maybe a bit less starch, and less dairy and red meat. The fish suggestions are pretty good, but on the heavy side.
~The spitty, frilly little dino in the first Jurassic Park is made up. However, it is based on a real creature alive today: the australian frilled lizard.
~Long-necked and -tailed dinos are often known as sauropods. Or, a better description would be really big, slow cows.
~"Raptor" is Latin for "to seize and carry off". Birds of prey like hawks, eagles, falcons, owls, and vultures are all raptors. Make sense?

-Same with 'Disclaimer'... especially since it's a ONESHOT! So no touchie that, either.
-I WILL allow someone to take the idea for 'Void'. I wouldn't mind if you take the idea for it, but if ya don't mind, please say where ya got the idea from on the first chappie. You don't even have to keep saying so on each chapter, as long as ya stick it in there once, please. Oh yes, and if you use the idea, email me so I can read it- I'd love to see what someone can do with it ^-^
